Cafe Mambo 07

I have a lady friend who loves Salsa, so I got myself a superb instructional DVD, but when they said 'Let us now do it to the music'. I could not move my feet fast enough. I should add I am 72 and have an artificial hip joint. So I had to find some way of slowing this beautiful lady down. I searched for Mambo on the Internet. This CD was one of those I sampled. Looking at the thumbnail icon I did not realise that it was Cafe Mambo Ibiza 2007. However, the atmospheric tracks and superb latin beats compiled on this disc were just what I was looking for. So I will tell her to forget the steps and get up close and personal! Great Value!

As a firm favourite of Cafe Mambo 05 and Cafe Mambo 06 (which are both still played regularly at home), 07 makes a nice addition to the ambient/chillout collection. CD1 in particular has some amazing tracks on it, although CD2 lets the side down slightly as the tracklist feels slightly unorganised in places, with two 'out of genre' tracks that don't fit the Mambo ethos at all, in my opinion. Well worth the entry price for CD1 alone though, very well recommended!

this selection has no flow and mostly miss rather hit as far as i am concerned. cafe mambo 2004 being particularly good. but 6 and 7 are rubbish. i ordered both and i didn't think they even warranted being put in the back of my cupboard so i binned them. enough said!
