50 Juice Recipes that do good things for your body
Pass by the long introduction (with a chatty and longish discussion of human physiology and a stay at an ashram) and you can have 50 recipes for juice with notes on what benefits they have for the body. There are plans for a three-day juice fast, a "colorful juice" fast, a modified fast, and a weight-loss fast. Throughout, there are discussions of what vegetable and fruit does what for your health, then chapters for weight loss, diabetes, clear skin and de-stressing. You should check your doctor if you are a diabetic before embarking on any diet plan including juicing, because each diabetic is different and if you get into trouble, you may not be able to recognize the danger signs fast enough. I also didn't see a discussion of "interstitial fluid" which is what my German holistic doctor told us was the fluid around each cell. Fill that fluid with healthful vitamins and nutrients, and keep your cells healthy and allow toxins to pass out of them. This is why drinking enough water is beneficial, as well as getting plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables--the interstitial fluid is kind of a barrier around each cell, protecting it with antioxidants and other good things.There is additional info on best juicers to buy, even a suggestion of what to do with the pulp from juicing, and the difference between juices and smoothies.Summary: valuable book, with caveat about watching your personal health situation because no book can prescribe for you if you have a medical condition, especially one that involves the digestive system or endocrine system (pancreas, gall bladder, liver, stomach.) You might want to skip the intro if you aren't into biology; I had enough physiology and endocrinology in university to choke a donkey, and even I found it worth skimming past. If you like that sort of detail, you'll love it.

Juicing Book That Packs The PUNCH You Need!
Juicing Magic: 50+Recipes for Detoxification, Weight Loss, Healthy Smooth Skin, Diabetes, Gain Energy and De-Stress is an EXCELLENT guide in understanding and implementing various juicing strategies to boost your energy levels, cleanse your system and better your overall health! The beginning of this book is unique and easy to relate to - it just makes sense. The author does a great job showing you that getting your body clean from the inside out is important. A great message that just leads to bigger and better with the meat and potatoes of this book.The benefits of juicing are explained, differences between smoothies and juicing, sample juice plans and fabulous SIMPLE recipes are all included. Top this off with fruit and veggie explanations and there's no choice here but for you to learn and better your knowledge. I really can't say enough about this book expect perhaps I would have liked to see more nutritional stats with each of the juicing recipes. But that just me. As a nutritionist I'm always wanting to learn more!Bottom line is this book will definitely help you move forward in your quest to attain better overall health. Give it a read and let the author know what you've gained!

Juicing Magic is a great solution for me!
I am a working mom with twins and a little girl and I am always on the lookout for reasonable solutions to lose some weight. When I say reasonable I mean the solution should be fun, usable, easy to go through, delicious, healthy and quick. Juicing Magic by Adish Books is such a way that qualifies all my criteria. The book is totally worth it and I am going through the three-day juice fast way, the "colorful juice" fast way, the modified fast, and the weight-loss fast as I proceed with the book. I totally love the section on best juicers because I am in the process of buying one and this information shows me the best options. The information included in the book is very valuable and I like the way it is presented so that there are enough recipes, but there is also some very usable information that provides the basis to understand what juices do for you and what the difference is between juices and smoothies.There is additional info on best juicers to buy, even a suggestion of what to do with the pulp from juicing, and the difference between juices and smoothies.

Its really a Juicy magic :)
I have read quite a few different books on juicing and also done the raw food diet. But this one is different. It motivates you to live a healthier lifestyle. It logically establishes that juicing is a great way to get more energy, feel less bloated and ultimately lose weight and be energized every day!One thing I like very much is that the easy recipes and ingredients that I can find at the grocery store. I would recommend this to anyone who is thinking about getting into juicing.This book can help you a lot. I am sure you will buy more books / resources on this subject as you learn more and more about juicing. There is nothing wrong with that! In fact... if you have already purchased several books on this topic, this is a great addition as the recipes for the different juices will keep you busy for awhile.

Excellent information
Excellent information about the Why and How To do juicing to start and maintains a healthy lifestyle. After erasing this book I realize that juicing should be a part of everyone's daily routine. In today's world we don't always get natures best foods because of the toxins we live with every where. Juicing seems to be the best natural way to get our nutrients and vitamins on a daily basis. Cleansing seems to also be a good way to unclog our insides from the stuff we put into our guts. I like the informative natural common sence way juicing is explored in thus book.

Perfect book for juicing
First, I didn't realize there was a difference in making "juices" v. "smoothie". I just received a Vitamix as a gift and thought this book would be perfect, but alas, I need a smoothie book. I read the book anyway because it was interesting and was mostly a bunch of recipes. If you're into juicing, this book would be great for you!
