If you like The Rippingtons' then you'll like this. Smooth Jazz at its best but no stand out tracks for me, which is surprising as they normally have a couple of gems on each album - this one's more background music - but very high quality musicianship.

I have every Rippingtons album thus far, and have found the standard of playing and production to be top drawer. But this album, I personally think is one of the worst so far. When I remember back to classics like 'Tourist in Paradise or even to a certain degree in later years 'Topaz' the latest offering is distinctly below par. Russ Freeman and his band can do so much better, so I hope the next recording has some of the spirit that previous efforts had in truckloads. If you get the time, go back about 15 - 20 years and discover some of the older stuff, it will be worth doing...

If you can't make the Cote D'Azur this year grab a lounger and a cool drink close your eyes and you will be there.

As usually Russ Freeman and The Rippingtons are giving us delightful jazz to be listened to everywhere and on every occasion.

No se puede decir que sea mi disco favorito de los Rippingtons pero este CD de Russ Freeman es otro buen trabajo que fue inspirado en su visita a Francia con la que mantiene una estrecha relación profesional. Se diría que en comparación con otros discos anteriores éste es un tanto más frío y sentimental. Destaca Jeff Kashiwa al saxo.

I listen to many samples and select whether to buy a few select pieces from it on iTunes or to buy a CD in disc format if I really like it. This was one of the few that I actually decided to buy a CD version. This is one of the better ones by The Rippingtons and can play it over again in my daily mix of music to uplift me and cheer me up,

I was really disappointed with this CD. Other than the title track the balance is pretty ho hum.

聞きやすいが、似たような曲調が続くので飽きてくる。

デビューして25年。ラス・フリーマン率いるリッピントンズの作品は全然ぶれないです。初期の哀愁を醸し出すサックスのパートは減ってきているものの、メロディ重視の泣かせる哀愁サウンドは健在です。このグループのサウンドは安定感があり裏切られることはありません。リッピントンズの中でもベスト５に入る作品だと思います。

カナダから取り寄せました。国内出品の中古モノより安心できます。

心地よいメロディを聴かせてくれます。いつまでも聞いていたいです。

We've been fans for a long time now and this has become one of my favorite cd's by this group. Great interesting music, relaxing but upbeat, a diverse variety of tunes but still classic Rippingtons. Their music never gets old.

One of their best - very relaxing and a great cd to play when working, cleaning around the house, driving, or just trying to relax. Funny but the lead guitar tone on track 4 reminded me of the 90120 opening song. Russ playing some nice guitar both acoustic and electric.
