Works great for big zip-ties
This tool works great for larger (10"+) zip-ties. For shorter / lighter zip ties, it has so much torque that it easily breaks them when cinching/clipping, so you have to be super careful. The cut-off is the best i have seen, it leaves no sharp edges to end up slicing open your knuckle.

Very helpful
I tried ordering this from multiple local Home Depot stores, all which were out of stock. Purchasing through Amazon was super helpful in that the item was delivered within a day of the order, which wouldn’t have been the case from local hardware stores. It’s exactly the same product, which worked great and exactly as expected.

Great heavy duty tool for repetitive use
I have about 500 cable ties I need to install on an indoor playground. These are heavy-duty, in-line cable ties. The company that makes the cable ties also makes a gun to install them, which costs over $350. So, I thought I'd give this tool a try before breaking the bank on the Panduit gun, and I'm so glad I did. This is a heavy duty tool. It handles my 0.39" wide cable ties with no problem. Like all tensioning tools, you must first start the cable tie by hand. With this tool, I only need to get about 1" of tie through before I can use the tool. If I were using standard cable ties instead of the inline ones, I'd need to get even less through. This was important because my ties barely fit around the foam tubes with which I am covering the steel tubing. With this tool, as long as I can get the tie through, I can tighten it. Doing it by hand, I'd have to use two ties in place of one. When the ties are 50 cents a piece, and I'm installing 500 of them, using one instead of two is a huge cost savings. This tool has no problem tensioniong over 60lbs and is the best way to cut off the excess tie. Again, because my ties are inline, it cuts it off about 3/8" beyond where the tie comes out of the tie head. For regular cable ties it cuts it flush with where the tie comes out of the head.Overall, this is a great tool if you have to do a lot of cable ties and well worth the price. I've used it for everything from standard cheep ties (1000 for $20 7" ties) to the very heavy duty 14" ties. So, save your fingers and buy this tool.

Works well but a bit awkward to use at first
I have used the "gun type" tensioning tools for many years, but the one I had was a cheap one and was pretty much worn out. Klein tools are legendary for their quality, so I was sure I wouldn't go wrong with this one. it's a lot different form the gun type and took me a bit to get used to how it works. Once I got the hang of it, it works well. I do think however the gun type might be easier to use in tight places. So far that hasn't been a problem for me.

Quality tool
If you need to tighten those zip ties beyond hand strength - this is the tool you need! I had two zip ties "pop off" in an industrial usage after replacing. I bought this tool and 0 problems after applying those same zip ties using this tool. If you are looking at this, just buy it.

I like it within its limitations.
I tried this on a variety of brands. It likes the softer ties. I broke quite a few of the old Gardner bender ties faily easily... I'd say 4 and 6 inch.I had it drag with a few of the "heavy duty 1/2 inch ties on here" but I managed them ok.It worked with low profile ties... or at least the ones I have that came from Orielly. It was easier to over tighten them which when cut resulted in the tie undoing itself but like with all the ties. You have to get the knack and feel for it.I'm happy with this purchase. Out of the 50 or so tries I've done. I haven't hurt anything but the ties and only had on tie with a stub.

Can’t believe I’m just getting one
These are great they will tighten any zip tie. I have used many zip ties but this can tighten them way better then by hand. It will break cheap ones if you over do it. The almost flush cutting feature is great as well. It made from metal and appears durable
