SPD-SL Pedal 105

Product offers great value. Shimano's upper lines, Ultegra/Dura Ace, are also used my other bikes. For this application - road/TT bike - this Shimano 105 SPD-SL pedal set offers great bang for the buck. Clip in/out adjustments=easy. Solid build (longevity/durability yet to compared to Ultegra/Dura-Ace, over time). For what I expected (an experienced cyclist) this pedal set delivers exactly as expected & provides great entry-level SPD-SL utility at a fair price (buying NEW was a requirement of mine.)

I bought these as my first clipless pedals on my road bike. My friend advised me not to buy the lower model and I am glad I listened to them. These pedals are so smooth to use. Clipping in and out is a different story (yes I fell a couple of times), but as far as the pedals, I have no complaints. I don't have to think about upgrading them or changing them in any way. Great pedals if you are getting into road cycling or just want reliable pedals that you don't have to think about.

Just like a lot of the reviewers have said, the yellow wear indicators degrade very fast.

This is a great pedal to use for beginners and with the tensioning option it allows for beginners to slowly increase tension as they get more advanced. The only issue I have found is the price is only a couple bucks below the ultegra version which does everything this pedal does while being lighter which can prevent the need to upgrade in the future as you become more competitive.

I needed to get new shoes, which forced me to get different pedals. Because my bike has a Shimano 105 group-set, these pedals were the perfect choice for me. The seller had the best price I could find, and they were delivered to me really fast! I have only done one ride with them, but these pedals are exactly what I wanted! Can't wait for it to warm up and start throwing down some seriously long rides!

As an FYI for those (myself included) concerned about receiving a knock-off version, I ordered and received the real R7000 pedals in March 2022. Compared it to online resources about the counterfeits and everything checked out... packaging appearance, 258 gram weight was exact, tension adjustment does make a clicking sound, etc.. These are solid pedals and I have no issues with them. Remember to grease the threads when installing and have a 2.5 mm allen key on hand to set the tension. I started at 5 clicks harder than easiest and that seems to be a nice balance. Could go harder with the release tension without issue.

Shimano évidemment, pas de surprise montée sur mon vélo utilisé sur mon home traîneur en comparaison avec mes ultegra montée sur le vélo que j’utilise sur route ,pas trop vraiment de différence au niveau qualité et souplesse du mécanisme de clips juste un peut plus lourde . Pédales abordables et solides à recommander.

Having had my previous bike stolen, with the new one needed another pair of pedals. Decided to go up the ladder on shimano’s offering. Worth the extra spend, pedals are really good and power transfer is great.

Super leichtläufiges Pedal,leicht anzubringen und einstellbar in der Festigkeit beim lösen. Preis angemessen.Toll zu fahren Klar gibt es noch teure,aber ob die dann besser sind?? Irgendwann spiel nur das Gewicht ne Rolle. Aber auch hier haben die Pedale überzeugt.siehe Beschreibung
