In short, it's a squeegee without the mess to clean up at the bottom of the window.Yes, you should keep a cloth handy to wipe up any corners or left over water but those few drops are no issue.Works like a charm with enough suction power and battery life to last an entire house clean. The spray bottle and attached cleaning cloth keep your hands dry and allow for a quick and comprehensive distribution of the cleaning solution.Useful for mirrors as well though sometimes leaves a narrow line where the silicone lip ends but that can be wiped away with a microfibre cloth in seconds.I use it to dry the tiles in the shower after cleaning and even with the gaps between them it does a great job taking most of the water off.Also works well on the car despite the curved windows and greatly eases the process of a quick clean. 5min and all windows are sparkling again.Wouldn't go back to manual cleaning ever again.Only downside is the small water container that wants to be emptied regularly.

Good - BUT (see end of review hence losing a star)First time with window vacs & I was sceptical but now am converted ! This kit does exactly what it says and does it well. Light to use and very efficient. It really does takes a fraction of the time taken previously to achieve a good clean. In this pack, the choice of using either of the two sized heads is great. Pretty quiet too - not sure what I was expecting but it is absolutely fine. Emptying the vac could not be easier, simply remove a plug and pour it out - or if you prefer you can simply unclip the unit then remove the tank entirely in seconds and flush out.It is amazing how little water is needed for cleaning - no more buckets etc. The Karcher cleaning concentrate I found to be very effective and all in all lives up to the 'no streak' claim, as used with the applicator and vac.The cleaning mad (microfibre) is good and easily removed.The supplied separate applicator pad/bottle/stand unit leaked fluid when used not vertically which was annoying when wiping the window before vac'ing it. I tightened it as far as i can safely do but it still dripped - however - however Karcher have replaced the applicator - the new one is fine so I have added back stars. A great cleaner.

I am a window cleaner by trade and this is a very handy tool. I use this on internal conservatory roofs as it stops any water dripping down and getting you soaked from the tradition method which was the main reason I bought this. It is very quiet too which is nice.However there are a few things to keep in mind:• It is not completely streak free. You will get a few fine lines from the small rivets on the underside of the blade when the sun shines through. It’s worth just going back over the window with a clean microfibre after.•The battery life is good to start with, but don’t leave it on. Just turn it on and off as you blade off the soapy water. If you leave it on continuously it will probably last around 20 minutes.•Keep it upright. If you turn it, it will leak.

'A vacuum cleaner for windows', I thought, 'whatever next?' I put it in my shopping basket but didn't buy it, and I didn't clean my windows for over a year because it's so much hassle. Finally I made the jump and clicked on 'buy now', and oh, my life has changed. This is just an amazing product. Window cleaning has become fun! First, the spray bottle with the microfibre cloth is brilliant in itself to scrub the dirt off the window. But I had never consciously thought about the fact that getting the water off the window really is the major task that makes window cleaning so laborious and annoying, with frequent streaks, needing lots of elbow grease to get them clean even when using microfibre cloths or even newspapers. Now it's different: I pull the Kärcher down the window, and no water, no streaks, just pure and clean and transparent. It takes just a few minutes for a very large window, and it works so well on Velux windows without any water splashing around. Very occasionally there is a small streak, especially when waiting too long to vacuum up the water when it's already dried a bit, but they are very easily removed by wiping a cloth over them. Im sum: I love this window vac, I really do.

Before purchasing I read the reviews, I did note that someone mentioned the older version was better as they claimed to empty water bottle you had to break down the unit to remove. I can assure you that this is not the case. The body of the water bottle has a heavy duty rubber bung that you simply pull out and empty.I purchased this because I am fed up of wiping water marks off my shower unit, well what can I say, this leaves my shower unit looking like it has not been used and polished. It also stops the bathroom feeling damp and muggy after your shower. It is great to wipe the window down prior to opening it to air. With the different attachments, which are very easy to change, used for cleaning windows albeit car or house it is really easy to use and I am sure I will find many other uses for this brilliant tool in the near future.

Bought this primarily to use in the shower, to clean up after showering . Very pleased with it. Leaves the shower screen and tiles spotless. The different sized heads are a great idea and easy to change. Time between having to charge is a good couple of weeks, and that’s with a few mins of use, on most days. Charges quickly. I can understand other reviews with people saying the tab you pull to empty it feels like it’s going to break, but in my opinion, that’s softening with use and showing no signs of weakness. I even manage to get my teenager to use it after she showers! That’s how easy it is. Really pleased and happy to recommend.
