World Kitchens Peppered Beef Jerky, 12 Ounce Bag

This beef jerkey is $1 per ounce. I think it is actually a little (not much) more, but they send this to your house. You don't have to go to the grocery store and pretend like this is the first day that you are buying 1.75L of the cheapest brandy. You can get that stuff sent straight to your door, and you don't even have to answer. In my neighborhood, they will leave the package right on your doorstep. Beef jerky, at your door step for a good price.The beef jerky also tastes good. Some gas station beef jerky can taste like bologne, but this beef jerky tasted like good quality peppered beef. Jerky. It was good. I gave some to the dog, but don't tell the wife. I gave the doge a little bit of beef jerky and she went nuts. Every morning that I make a sandwich for lunch with cold cuts, I give the dog a slice of turkey or ham. Don't tell her, she'll nag me and yell at me and I don't need that.Good beef jerky. Taste/texture is Good/great. Price is reasonable/good/great.Don't tell my wife.

It was too peppery and dry for me.I liked the value, but the amount of pepper was excessive. Also the jerky was on the very dry side. I like mine a bit in between chewy/dry like the way the jack links teriyaki comes in.The meat was of good quality.

I got this Jerky, and at first thought "wow, this is great for the price!" But, I started to notice some weird tasting pieces -- about one in every four tasted fishy! At first I thought I was just crazy, so I had a co-worker try a bunch, and he thought the same thing! This happened to me with the Brown Sugar flavor from this same brand as well. In short, it's just not worth it. I've since made the glorious switch to OS Trim Ostrich sticks for my protein snack....mmmmmmm....Ostrich.

This jerky isn't going to win any awards or make you forget about every other brand of jerky. It has a good flavor and for the price, it is very competitive.

The beef jerky was good but again it was really too much jerky in 1 shot for 1 person over time. This is more like family size to finish in a time when the beef jerky will still be fresh after opening the package.

THis jerky is not available at local retail stores (at least here). Price per ounce is good and quality equals or exceeds that of other brands. The 12 ounce bag is more convenient than having to buy a bunch of three ounce bags.

I used to buy World Kitchens jerky locally in a 1lb bag for $10. Can't find that anymore. I guess as they've become more popular they've also become more expensive. It is still a good value for a large bag of delicious beef jerky. This jerky would fall in with the less greasy dry variety, but is a little more moist than many similar jerkies out there. I like the peppered jerky because it has a little bite, but I can still share it with my little one.

I tried this after reading all the great reviews but after comparing it with Jack Link's, I have to go with the latter. Seeing how JL is on Amazon Prime, I don't see myself buying this again. Tastes good though.
