Silvervine for Cat, 2.5g

The only silvervine that works for my 5 cats. I've tried several different silvervine on Amazon in the forms of sticks, toys and powder, a lot of powder. None of them came close to this Japan-imported cat marijuana.Everyone of my cats is fanatic about it. The rustling of the bag is more magical than the smell of a treat.I think one of the problems with other powder form of silvervine products is, other than their sources of silvervine, that they are in a can or a jar. Once you open the can, the remaining silvervine loses potency every time you open it again due to oxidation and humidity, while this Japanese silvervine is in small packets of 5. You open one packet at a time and the rest silvervine keeps it's potency until you open another packet.It's not cheap for the amount in the pack I reckon, but the superior potency is definitely worth the price.

I NEVER write reviews but I thought I would for this product because of how consistently amazing it has been. All 8 of my cats absolutely LOVE this brand of silvervine. I have purchased silvervine from many different places/brands, but this one has always been the favorite and seems the most potent. I can not even throw away the empty packet out in an open trash bin or else they will fish it out!!! That’s how much they love this. They want every last speck of it! I have been purchasing this particular silvervine brand for years now and it has always been consistent in quality. It takes some time to receive as it comes from Japan, but it is well worth the wait as it brings SO much joy to my little ones! It may seem like you don’t get much powder in each packet, but believe me when I say you only need a small pinch for them to go crazy! I spoil my guys and pour out a whole packet though because I want them to be as happy as can be lol! Best silvervine EVER! Give it a try :-)!!!

Fantastic. I have used on 8 different foster kitten and 5 different cats ranging in ages 2 to 14 years old. They all go nuts over it. This makes them playful and not “stoned” or lethargic. They were so ecstatic with it I was a bit jealous. I have to throw out the packet in the outside bin or my cat will go in the garbage to get it. She does not go in the garbage for food but did for this.One star removed for cost. I wish they sold in bulk.I now mix with regular catnip to extend the usage.

Well, when they say that not ALL cats like this they aren't kidding! Our girl just sniffed it and walked away. Nothing. But...our two boys, WOW!! They went CRAZY over it! Steven was pulling himself around and around in his favorite chair, flipping himself upside down and standing on his head while rubbing his head in it!! He rolled and rubbed in it, flipped and flopped around like a fish on land! And meowing and purring! It was hysterical! Our other boy "Pooky" (we put it on the carpeted floor) he kept laying in it and pulling himself through it over and over again! Then he'd wriggle around on his back like he was trying to scratch his back!! Then I tore open the little packet and gave it to him, OMG he LOVED that! He actually grabbed it out of my hand then held it in his paws and kept rubbing it all over his face like a washcloth! Then he just laid on the floor and chewed it! LMAO! I TOTALLY recommend this product! They LOVE IT!! I not sure why our little girl cat didn't like it, but she's still young so maybe when she gets a little older I'll try it on her again. I find that it's like that with catnip too, they usually don't like it until they're an adult cat. I'll keep trying, hopefully she'll start liking it. But, at least we have the boys! I couldn't believe it, I just put a tiny bit of the powder down! It doesn't take much! And it IS expensive so use it sparingly! All you really need is just a pinch of it! So yes, I say DEFINITELY buy it and watch them go crazy!

All 3 of our cats respond well to this silvervine. It's definitely their favorite nip.They get into it so much that they seem embarrassed by their response.They are tiny packets of powder.I cut off the end of one packet, pour as little as possible onto my hand, pinch some, make a thin line along the length of a couple of catnip toys with my fingers and then rub it into the toy.Then I fold the end of the packet a couple of times and seal it with a paperclip.Very little goes a long way, unless of course you have one who licks it off. We have one of those but she doesn't lick the whole toy, and our big baby boy cat doesn't let her enjoy it too long. When he sees her really getting into the stuff he sometimes goes over and lets her know it's his turn. Even though he was given one of his own, he thinks hers must be better. (She is a large formidable opponent and will turn on him if he annoys her at the wrong time.) We try to watch for bullying.

Worked fine for a few minutes -- after that the cats couldn't care less

I am so very disappointed with this product. I work in rescue and have 3 cats that lived this product since they didn't respond to catnip I would splurge on this for them. I knew my cats responded to the product since they had it many times before this but a few orders I started noticing some boxes had no effect on them. I was almost going to stop ordering it since it seemed clear that the product I fell in love with no longer existed but I have it another chance hoping it would be good quality but instead I ended up with 4 useless boxes. I'm so disappointed and confused as to how a product can start out so great and then turn to a complete waste of money. What a shame whatever has changed with this product has ruined the product and made it useless sadly

One whiff as i open the packet, and my cat goes bonkers. He's not at all affected by catnip or valarian which i've tried many times, from different brands, just silvervine, and this is by far the most potent I've been able to purchase: i've tried purchasing tins, bags, dried leaves and grinding them into a powder, all of which are cheaper, and does work, but none make him as excited as this does, even though i used far less, but the price fluctuates dramatically.

Cat loves this stuff... wilder than catnip.Problem is that it is really powdery so can get smushed and rubbed in to stuff.-A grade, would love to see it available in more whole form like some types of catnip.

My cat loved this silvervine powder so much that he was hilariously wacky and had epic zoomies. I laughed so hard and he had the best nap of his life afterward. Highly recommend. I just wish the price was lower as the quanity isnt worth the current price of $20+

The box was a little bit squished but otherwise everything is perfect. The fine powder form makes it really handy to encourage my cat to try new foods. It smells nice too. No artificial/chemical smells.
