A wonderful tent in many ways with some concerns
Fantastic tent if you can get a deal like I did. Two people might sleep on the floor but not using cots I don't think since the shape is inefficient inside. Setup and down is amazing and the cover and windows are super weather and wind proof. The air inflatable base would be a waste of money imo but the canopy well worth it and makes a nice vestabule front porch. Sturdy think materials and hardware. I would easily buy 2 of these or the one larger. Perfect for me and the dog camping at our gun club on the river. I do pin down a plastic tarp under it to keep clean. The removable velcro bucket bottom handled rain storm fine but not sure I like the feature at all. Still about the best popup I've ever had. Too bad they are made in China for the parent company.

Putting up by yourself. Stake the floor 1st. The the walls and ceiling.
This tent survived Strausburg high winds for a two day horse show I was at. Very happy with how it held up with no shaking and barely any noise. When the wind got to strong it did pop one of the walls inward without moving things inside the tent. All it took was popping it back out. The advice I give to Amazon is that if you are putting this tent up by yourself. Its best to stake the floor down first. Then pop the walls and ceiling.

Solid Quality Tent
Ordered this tent during the spring sale and was impressed with the material quality and ease of setup. I wouldn't say this is as easy to setup as lets say a Gazelle tent however the material quality is even better. The tent when packaged is a reasonable size for camping and easy to pack up and carry. The only reason I did not keep this tent was because the pentagon shape and size is not large enough to fit a full size camping pad. So BUYER BEWARE if you are not sleeping on individual camping pads/sleeping bags the 2-3 person tent will be too small for you. If they did make a tent that would fit a 2 person camping mattress in the future I'd definitely consider a tent from Acacia.

Another Updated Review #3
8/13/24 Update: Months after my first review of 3 Acacia emailed me. I responded but I don’t think they get all the emails. So I went to the website to respond to the ticket. They offered to replace my tent. I was excited about that and said yes. They then contacted me saying the Moonstone color I had originally ordered was not available. Odd as Amazon still showed them and they ship from Acacia?? Anyway, they gave me a few other color choices. None I liked but I settled on Summer Night. After a round of emails and website submissions a month later I received the tent. I checked immediately for damage and then we took it camping. It went up easily. My only complaint as I live in snake country is the two places near the front door where the removable floor has to be slightly detached so that you can place the two tent poles that supports the door, leave an open to the outside gap where you can’t re Velcro. About a 1 1/2 gap. So I did get spiders and ants. But then stuffed the small spaces. That said we got a massive thunderstorm with heavy rain and wind that night! It was intense. While other tents were having issues the Acacia stayed strong. I remained dry. One really large gust of wind and one of the five walls popped in. All I had to do was pop it right back out, from inside but it did not happen again and the rest of the tent was solid. I remember laying there looking up at the ceiling, listening to the pounding rain and the wind whip the rain fly. Just waiting for it to fly off, but it never did. The next morning, I checked all the points on the tent, all the fasteners for the rain fly, and everything was in tiptop shape. Meanwhile, my friends next to me had broken tent poles, and woke up wet. So other than the floor issues which are a little concerning in areas that have slithering things that are poisonous. I’m just as impressed as I was with my first tent initially before I found pin holes in it. The replacement tent was in perfect shape the canvas in top-notch shape. It’s a heavy duty tent. This is not a light tent, but it’s not really supposed to be. It’s supposed to be more like a pop-up shelter. A portable yurt if you may. The only reason I am changing this from 1 to 3 stars and not 5 is this. It took months to get a response, then I was told I could not have the color I originally loved and had because it was out of stock when Amazon had tons of them, lastly the two points on floor near the door where if you don’t stuff something small in, allow for kreeeepers. That said, I will definitely overcome that problem because this tent is amazing! It fits my pop-up cot a dog crate my personal belongings, and a small table. I no longer sleep on the ground, but if I did, it could fit two people. But I’m older now with back issues and like having my cot. The trip I took this on was the 11th camping trip I have taken this season and I have two more planned. I will definitely be taking this tent.. totally willing to stuff the two small little holes. I am not worried about rain entering because the floor is a tub type floor and the outer canvas goes over the tub like Floor . There is no way I’m getting rain in here unless I’m literally floating in a river of run off. So yes, I can highly recommend this tent just please the minute you get it. Pop it up. Make sure everything is in place. Check all the seams. Check the fabric for pinholes. So that you don’t wait four months to hear from the company. Again, the only reason I’m not giving it five stars was everything I had to go through to get this replacement along with the fact it’s not the color I want and loved when they had it in stock and minor floor issues. That said it’s the favorite tent I’ve had in the past 35 years. If they could ever come on down with the price of the base, I may order that but right now it’s more expensive than the two paddle boards I have. I’m not spending $1000 on a camping system. But if you want something sturdy that pops up keeps you very warm and dry. I can recommend this. 5/10/24 Update. Changing review to 1 star. After a month of trying to reach the manufacturer to no avail Kudos to Amazon for returning this item and giving me credit to purchase a different tent. Needless to say it was not an Acacia. I’m still disappointed because I loved this tent. However, their customer service is nonexistent. I simply wanted a repair kit or for them to replace the tent and no one would get back to me . It was well past the 30 days when Amazon stepped in and did the right thing and returned it for me. Purchase at your own risk because if there’s anything wrong, no one from Acacia will ever get back to you . Considering the price of this item, you would think they actually had customer service. Again, what is so so upset because this was one of my favorite tents of all time. Short of the holes. *** I have been wanting this particular tent for a good amount of time. I needed something small sturdy easy to set up that would withstand wind and rain that my 6’4 son could stand in. Received it and we immediately put it in our backyard. Perfect size for two adults. 1 with a cot, but lots of room for a small table and storage. We attached the included top rain cover ( not the big one you purchase separately) and folded down the rain windows. It rained that night, not a drop of water inside. We did this intentionally because I did not want to be camping during rain and find out the hard way. I have not purchased the floor yet, as the tent itself was an investment. I’d like to soon however because I camp 7-10 times during Spring, Summer and fall. The heartbreak. The gray canvas had a lot of discoloration that looks like a fabric manufacturing flaw, but I was not upset enough that I was going to return it. Then this weekend on our first camping trip, after putting it up, I noticed two small holes in the fabric. I’m gutted. Because I absolutely love this little tent it fits my little cot & table perfectly. My son who likes to sleep in his camping hammock, can use my tent to change because its got such a high ceiling. But now I’m worried because I’m not sure how to fix these small holes. That are clearly a flaw in the manufacturing of the canvas fabric along with the discoloration. I am hoping I am able to get a hold of the manufacturer and have them suggest something and fix the issue. If they do, I will come back and give this tent five stars. Because it would be perfect then.

Easy set up
Any problems with the tent were made right by the company. They were very swift into action to handle any problems and they were more than professional. It's a great product and I hope me and my wife and kids get many happy camping trips out of it! Thank you for being a higher standard than most in customer service. It is refreshing to see companies still care. 😊

Horrible
I went to set my tent up (and this isn’t my first hub tent) and one side just wouldn’t pull right, so I went inside thinking it must have just been caught. NOPE one side has a pole that is not in place. And it’s not something that you can just fix. It’s come out of its housing. I reached out to the company and they redirected me to Amazon. This is outside of the return window (who buys a tent right when they go camping). I bought from the Acadia store on Amazon. I had to go buy a tent to have a place to sleep. This is ridiculous. I don’t recommend buying from this company AT ALL. 😔

A 62 year old and her camping cats.
I love everything about this tent. It is my third tent purchase in eight months and it’s my last. I am a 62 year old woman with a bad hip and arthritis and I will never stop camping. I had this tent up in five minutes max. I attached a cat tent through the hole meant for AC so my cats could get to their litter box (see video). I have my cot and sleeping mat, a camping toilet and cat bed, with room for my backpack. I do not have the air mattress bit may be a future purchase. You can’t go wrong with this tent. Thank you Acacia, you made this 62 year old very happy.
