I don’t know how I struggled for years without these. If you change to tires/wheels twice a year in your driveway with the car on jack stands, and your car has wheel bolts rather than studs (as my Audi A4 does), these prevent you from desperately balancing the 40 lb. wheel in one hand while you attempt to thread that first bolt with the other. Simple, essential item.

I was looking for wheel studs for jeep and Dodge vehicles but these do no work on jeep or Dodge vehicles

Ordered these to help in mounting summer/winter wheels on a 2019 BMW X3 M40i. The studs came in the right diameter but with a coarse thread rather than the fine thread used by the lug bolts/hub assembly on this particular model; they would not thread. I just looked again at the product description but can't find anything related to this. Just a heads up!

Worked ok. I spent a little more to get these because they looked like they would include a protective cap for the threads. They didn't come with the caps though.

These are perfect. Mounting wheels and tires on BMWs is a challenging feat because BMW uses lug bolts instead of lug nuts. That means there are no lug bolts already protruding from the wheel hubs to mount the wheel onto when placing it on the car. There are nothing but holes and the very thin edge of the center hub. With these pins, you place them into the holes on the wheel hubs and tighten them down. Then you simply use them as your guides to slide the wheel/tire over and onto the hub on the car. You start the other three lug bolts, remove the two pins, replace them with lug bolts, and your tire is mounted so much more easily than ever before! Huge time saver, and a big knee and back saver from trying to line up that spinning tire the old way. Just awesome!

Did not like the fact that that the rubber protectors for the threads were not included.

These worked perfectly as described. For the last 10 years I've been saying I need to get these whenever I swap out my winter/summer wheels/tire sets, but I've always been to lazy to order them. I run spacers on my GTI and it's a hassle to install the wheels on the front with only the small about of lip the 8mm spacers provide. It's a balancing act between holding the wheel in place with my foot while trying to thread one bolt in the hub while maintaining perfect alignment.I will struggle no more! I have only used one but the option for two is nice when it comes time to swap the heavier wheel sets on my wife's Touareg.The rounded end is a nice touch and the rubber thread protectors will serve well when these are in storage. It's the little things!

These are absolutely essential if you are going to remove the wheels on a Porsche with ceramic brakes. If you allow the wheel to fall against a rotor, you can may possibly crack or damage it costing you much grief and a big replacement cost. On cars without ceramic brakes, it makes removing and replacing the wheels a much easier job. I use a pair on the wheel that I'm removing, but only a single one when replacing the wheel. It's easier to align and hang the wheel on a single pin then to try to align the wheel on two of the pins. They are well-made and should last a long time as long as you protect the threaded area.

Sort of a must have particularly if your wheels don’t have protruding studs to hang your wheels on. They are nicely machined and work as they should. Maybe a little expensive for what they are.
