Gladon CLJR5012B 2-Piece Premium Swimming Pool Cover Clip Securing System, 12-Pack

I’ve tried many different kinds in the past. Love the female and male adaptors. This is the 1st year I e used them but so far so good.

After exposure to 25 winters my old plastic, one-piece, pool clips started cracking apart and needed to be replaced. I found these two-piece pool clips to be an improvement on the old design. They were easy to install and seem to hold my cover to the pool cap rails even more securely than my original ones did. I fully expect them to be a good, long-lasting product.NOTE: A number of people complained about these falling off during windy conditions. My old ones never fell off and these new ones have already withstood a couple of tropical storm type of windy days without incident. I'm guessing that perhaps it all depends upon the design of the cap rail as to whether these will come off very easily. When installing these new ones to my cap rails there was a very satisfying clunking noise as both the inner and then the outer piece of the clip was installed and locked in place.

I just put these clips on my pool cover. They do seem to hold the cover tighter, but only time will tell if they hold it tight enough. Putting the outside clip on was sometimes difficult, so you have to be careful and patient with it so as not to tear the cover a little at the sharp edges.

Good product

I’ve bought these last year and didn’t buy enough. So this year I bought some from the local pool store. They were cheaply made. These however are made thick, sturdy plastic and never fall off.

When first installed they held tight and looked great. Great help while installing cover to hold cover in place, until you get cover secured with tightened wire. However A couple of windy days later, the top clips all popped off and you are left with the cover just being secured by the wire

WE seem to always have trouble with our winter cover using the cable, with plastic wrap and other clips, but so far these clips are holding, and we are very pleased. We used 24 clips on an above ground pool.I am adding an addition; It has been 6 months since our purchase, and these clips are holding like the day we installed them. The clips nor the cover have slipped over the winter. Outstanding!

A lot of them pop off during heavy wind .. they are however better than the single clamps ..
