This is a brilliant pruner and very well made. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone of any age. It reaches a decent height too so no need for ladders, which is why I bought the pruner. Well worth the money.

This is a well made but lightweight pruner and did a great job of cutting back my climbing hydrangea without the use of a ladder. ( At 75 I never did like using them). It is light enough to be used with one hand to reach the highest shoots. Over 3 meters plus me. Typical Japanese quality.

A quality, versatile and very light pruner - ideal for pruning or dead-heading climbing roses and small shoots on fruit trees. The cut and hold works brilliantly, but note that the block on the cutter blade that helps hold the shoot also prevents you from cutting anything thicker than around 10mm, so no good for anything thicker.
