Pilot Sharp Pen Doctor Grip Full Black HDGFB-80R-B 0.5 mm Black

I would venture that perhaps somewhere else in the universe a highly advanced extra-terrestrial civilization may have crafted a superior writing instrument but for Earth, this is as good as it gets.I own two of them the one shown here and the same one with burgundy trim.They're sleek, ergonomic and perfectly comfortable in the hand. I like the .5 lead because I find it's sharper and more crisp.I also like the "Full Black" design. It simply looks cool. I pair with the Dr Grip Full Black ball point pen.

I absolutely love this pencil! I’m a stationary nut- pencils, pens, notebooks, etc- and I’m really picky about my pencils. I use this pencil mostly for notetaking (law school- so it’s a TON of notetaking) and this pencil’s ergonomic grip is awesome! I actually can’t find my original pencil so this is a replacement.

I have been using Dr. Grip shaky for almost 10 years. Old ones are a bit heavier but this one is very light! and also very comfortable to hold. perfect for note taking. shaking feature is awesome, but moreover the comfortableness is the thing for this mechanical pencil.

This is a wonderful mechanical pencil. I have only been using it for a couple months, all of my other pencils are Pentel, one is semi retired after 10 years, the others are newer. I have been using Dr. Grip's pens and after I bought the Full Black Pen, had to have the pencil. I have not tried it with French Curves or other drawing tools but not dissing my Pentel's , but this is like going from a Ford to a Mercedes Benz.

I used Dr Grip pencils all through my school years but have somehow misplaced them all.I decided to pick up a new one and was looking at the selection available on amazon and this one stood out. The all black design is more sleek than the normal Dr. Grips and if I'm not mistaken this is a Japan exclusive not normally found overseas.Build Quality wise is ok. It is surprisingly light which makes me thinking the might have comprised the materials they used but it does not feel flimsy so I'm hoping it holds up.This is shaker pen and I don't like the shaker mechanism so I took it out. Its basically just a metal sleeve inside the pencil. Very easy to remove.Overall I'm fairly happy with the pencil. I would recommend this over the more common Dr Grips if for nothing more than it being more distinctive.

This pencil is so incredibly comfortable to write with. I kind of collect higher end mechanical pencils and this was on my list anyway, but it's the one I find myself using the most.Don't think about it, just get it.

the pencil is pretty thick, the grip is not glued down so it deforms if held too tightly. Also, it is a good idea to own another seperate eraser because the included one only seals the lead cylinder

The title says it's a pen with black ink. I received a pencil. It is not returnable. Waste of $10
