IRC HD tubes...a must have for dirt riding
Like my other IRC HD tube review, there really isn't much to say about them. They are close to 3 times as thick as a standard tube and can take a hit much better especially if you're jumping and landing hard. I recommend HD tubes in all dirt bikes and to all my riding buddies and to anyone I see along the way that has a flat. These are much harder to get a flat with and I have only had one in all the miles or hours I have been riding with them. Sure they cost lot more than a standard tube but how much would you have paid to not be sitting on the side of the road or trail fixing a flat. No they are not puncture Proof but it sure is a lot harder for that thorn to get through. If your putting this on your dirt bike's rearend and want it so close to puncture proof that it's not even funny then add Slime to it after installing it. I doubt you will ever know it got punctured until time to replace the tire again.

This tube did awesome and is the same as OEM on KLR with ...
Replaced my rear 2008 KLR 650 tire and tube before a 500 mile trip of which 150 miles was off road and aired down. I went over rocks, tree stumps, gravel, 2 foot ditches, etc. etc. This tube did awesome and is the same as OEM on KLR with stainless steel valve stem that screws into rim. Highly recommend. If you do the tire/tube change yourself remember to install with baby powder, partially inflated (so as to avoid twists, kinks and wrinkles) and with tire spoons. Then make sure to inflate and deflate partially multiple times before reaching full factory recommended pressure (and prior to full bike's weight). Also make sure when you are re-seating the tire (after the new tube is inside) that you fully seat one side of the tire on the rim before trying to get the last side on. If the first side is not fully seated the job will be impossible to finish (i.e. the tire will seem to small to get onto the rim with tire irons.)

Still holding air 5 years later
I installed this tube in 2015 on my DR650. Admittedly, I haven't been in a location where I could ride much until last year but 5 years later and 4,000 miles and it still holds air. Changing my tire again next week and going to get a new tube just because but this will be my spare.

IRC Heavy Duty Tube - 4.00/5.10-17 - TR-4 Stem T20041
I like these front and rear tubes from IRC as they are thick and should last me a long time now that I am away from the cactus. I wanted a 90 degree valve, but this will do, as I don't expect to have to air them up so regularly as in the past. My KLR will be happy as will I with a more road worthy tire to ride in the future.

Perfect fit for a 1969 Honda CT90
When you buy a motorcycle that's 50 years old, you don't expect much. So, when tearing it down I found the tubes were little more than shredded wheat and green slime this product became a perfect replacement. After some fairly decent use, these tubes are fantastic. A true heavy duty inner tube. Super easy to install, great value, and have held up really well under some crazy riding.

A good tube
A good tube, fairly heavy rubber, holds air, I mean it does what you would expect. No comment on durability, I have only put 200 miles on it.Shipping was prompt, price was good.
