Absolutely fantastic purchase! Our 65" tv sits above the mantel just a few inches from the wall, with various items on the mantel. When we want to use it, we pull it out slightly, drop the tv down to where it's essentially centered in front of the mantel, and then tilt it left about 20 degrees. Super easy to move up and down and position. It did take some time to plan out where to place the mount, drill through a brick facade, mount it, and hang the tv, but it was certainly doable if you're used to doing things like that and take your time.

I have been looking for a mount that extends out directly and down for years. My painting cut out above the fireplace made all of the previous mantel mounts a non starter. The hardware is a bit of an eyesore, but the strain looking up is way worse. I’ll post pictures soon.

Recommend. Pricy but does what it says it will do. A little complex to get all fully working, with all the wiring that you will need to sort out - assuming you want to hide the wires.
