The only versatile system with great customer service
So, all of these stand systems have a weakness and one day we had a person exploit that weakness. They knew exactly what to do. Those were Ketec and other unbranded stands at the time. So my boss wanted to upgrade to a full door frame system. Since we were coming up on the colder season and expected to see more people coming in with thicker, and more easy to conceal items type of clothing. The only problem was that no one made a full door frame, what we now dub here, as our, "Halo" system. So we settled on this EasSmartech System to replace our old tower systems. It was with this brand of system only I was able to figure out how to create a working full frame alarm system that actually works. And the best part is, if you have the older board version of this system. The NEW boards (Green connectors) work perfectly fine with the OLD ones as well (Blue connectors). On other systems I always had to get the exact replacement when boards would fail over time. When we were able to figure out how to get this full frame system working, we needed to contact customer support and get the part we needed to make a full frame alarm at every entry and exit point in our building, 6 in total. EasSmartech customer support was very easy to work with. And we were able to easily get the part needed to finish our last 2 full frame modded "halo" systems. This was not something I was able to accomplish with our older Ketec and unbranded systems, but something told me just to try it with the EasSmartech system and was I able to get it working. As with any brand of these systems set the sensitivity to the tag you normally use, not the sample tags they supply. We do find a difference in how all these systems detect different tag manufacturers, even of they are the same frequency and size. Also, if you have more than one of these systems it would also be good to readjust the sensitivity after the alarms have been running for a week 24/7. But that's pretty much any brand and what we have learned/observed over the past 20 years.
