Chinchillas literally have to chew to live, otherwise expensive dental issues or even infection can result. My chinchilla loves these hanging mineral chew stones. My only complaint is that she is a super-chewer which results in this item being literally turned to dust in 36 hours. I will continue to buy this product assuming the quality stays excellent and my chinchilla is healthfully entertained.

A lot of the lava chews you find on amazon are the really cheap, done in a day types. This is very dense and my chinchilla takes over a week to get through it. Great value for money.

We purchased one of these locally to give them a try. Our rabbit loves them, so we purchased in bulk. Must say that the pricing online is much more reasonable than local pricing. Will purchase again.

While I can't really comment on the taste myself, nor would I want to, my bunny seems to enjoy chewing and playing with it!
