My Beloved's MBA Plans

When I first saw this book on Amazon, I thought it would be a book, written by a MBA aspirant. It must be a love story related to her life. But I was wrong. After reading a couple of reviews which I always do before picking a book, I found this book is an anthology, combined of 16 non-fictional love stories.Anthologies generally don’t attract me but this book was certainly an exception. Set in the backdrop of IIM-C, the 16 non-fictional stories in the book would take you into the world of love; love that is true and mature. All the stories except 2 are about couples. The book is all about how they managed their career, professional life and marriageable life all together.After completing I can say, not only you will love the stories, you will also fall in love with the characters. The book is only of 110 pages which will take around 3 hours to complete. The language written is easy to understand which makes it a beautiful read.I would recommend this book to all, especially to the married couples. I have seen many couples fight and argue most of their time due to the complexity in their respective fields. This book will make them realize the value of their life-partner and they will respect each other, more than before.I am little disappointed because I was craving for more. 110 pages was just not enough for me.

Heartwarming stories at the cross section of Love, family and career plans.I wish only the print/ digital version of the book could have been finely adjusted to enhance reading experience otherwise all good.

This is not just a book but a bunch of pearls strung together reflecting multiple shades of lives of people with aspirations and emotional bonds. It is a wonderful collection of real life stories with which you feel connected as soon as you start reading them. As you proceed with the book, you get indulged with more and more interesting as well as heart touching experiences that will make you fall in love with the book and the author. A must read for all those people who are pursuing or planning to pursue their career aspirations. Though the title mentions about MBA plans, but the book is apt for anyone who is facing the dilemma of family vs career.

To be very honest, i have read many books but "My beloved's MBA plans" was the first book which didn't allow me to stop reading it and save it for later, simply because the connect was made with the book while reading the first story itself and it was intact till the last story's, last page's, last word's last alphabet. Just got indulged in more and more heart touching experience. And not to forget about the smile which was on my face constantly while reading each and every story. After reading it many times still feels like picking it up and read any random story.Hoping for a new release from Disha soon. May be the sequel.

Kind of ok book, could be completed with an effort. Stories are inspirational bt narrative is little boring. Although the book is 110 pages only bt seems a long time to finish.One time read.

The book is all about people from different backgrounds and their passion for that post graduation degree. Overall a good book with inspiring stories. A one time read to all MBA Aspirants!

It is collection of short stories of courage and patience. what's worth here is all of them are real life accounts. one can consider it as if someone has collected gems out of sea and has asked you to have a look. To look and keep them or not is the choice for you to make.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It takes you into the lives of those pursuing an MBA in India. A must read for those planning to do so and a fun read for those who don't. Now, I am eagerly looking forward to her next book!

Gives an interesting perspective to life. The stories of couples who decided to take the MBA plunge after marriage or get married during the course is very insightful

Its inspiring to know how so many MBA aspirants have overcome personal hurdles to achieve their goals. Good work by the Author.
