Didn’t know that the drum unit had toBe replaced so quickly. Not cheap compared to the cost of the printer cartridges

Not toner - not what’s in the picture!
We needed new toner so I quickly bought this…. The picture shows toner cartridges but that is misleading. There is no toner, just the drum. Hugely frustrating. 3 stars because it is what it says it is, but minus 2 stars for misleading picture.

How do I know what to expect?
I have a brother printer. It told me I must replace the drum. An expensive item.It was easy to replace, but no difference in print quality. A grey shadow appears over the whole print, so no help there.Should it be cleaner?I've done the job. Spent a lot of money, but no visible difference.I don't know what to expect.Was it necessary?
