It was way to big around for me to be able to comfortable throw a leg over or put an arm around
Got it today, and just put it on. I hadn't really read other reviews before buying...which is unusual for me. Guess I just figured it's a pillow case that zippers, what could go wrong. As I came back today to write a review, I suddenly saw the broken zipper comments. I didn't read them all. But this is my experience. It arrived today, and in all honestly the pillow had been given to me, so I did not know it's measurements, however I could not use it as a body pillow, unless I wanted to pretend I was with an extremely overweight wale. It was way to big around for me to be able to comfortable throw a leg over or put an arm around, let alone put a head on. So I had given it to my 12 year old son to use as a backrest for his daybed/trundle, for when he wanted to sit on it with friends like a sofa and play video games.. I had recently bought him a red white and blue furry blanket and blue sheet set, so the brown body pillow didn't match the look. So I bought this blue cover, I picked it because it said it zippered on both sides, and for some reason I thought that meant I'd be able to open it up fully like an UN-zipped sleeping bag, lay the pillow on and then zip up over it encasing it. Not the case. It literally is a zipper on each of the ends. (not sure why a person would need that, instead of length wise for ease of putting on.) So I unzipped and held open to begin the process of stuffing this thing in. Before I had even an inch in, I heard a tear sound at the end of the zipper.. Wasn't much I could do other than continue at that point. The rest went in with a bit of shaking and pulling up on the opening where it tried to bunch and roll. It went in easier than the way it started out. As I had started to think it would take waiting for my son to get home, and unzipping the other end for him to pull, as I shoved. Didn't come to that, and I had it in in less than 5 min. I did have to then shake again, as surprisingly the case is a bit longer than the pillow..and it's a big pillow. that way the overhang on each side is only a couple inches, rather than 4 on just one side, so really unnoticeable. I just went and rechecked the zippers, and don't really see the a rip, from the sound I heard luckily. Now about the material. On my bed a have some really nice microfiber sheets that are a nice wight and thickness, and soft. This pillow case is much thinner, and nowhere near as soft. Don't get me wrong it looks fine, and feels okay. Maybe I'm just spoiled by my nice sheets. It's not see through or anything, but I do have my doubts about how well it would hold up in repeated washing. Since it will only be used as a back rest occasionally I may someday try to wash it, but will do so on delicate cycle, and either tumble dry, or line dry. Without high expectations. It was cheap enough to just buy another when that day comes. So if this is something that you think you would be washing frequently I wouldn't recommend it. If however it will mainly be for decorative purposes, it will probably due just fine.

Quite the sheath.
Typically, I'm a bit lazy about bothering to follow up here with a review of any kind. However, I detest rampant negativity. SO, I ordered these body pillow covers. 2 in fact. Yes, I realize I have pillow addiction issues and will promptly seek therapy for it.The cases arrived on time, in a neat and tidy little Amazon box. In little plastic, zippered cases of their own. I lugged out the two, very hot pink body pillows in need of makeover and was filled with trepidation as I began to gingerly unzip the first cover. Okay, well, maybe not. Maybe I just unzipped it like any old normal zipper. To which it reacted by unzipping like any normal zipper. The beastly body pillows were like slippery eels though and it took a while to wrangle them into the cases. Like diapering a really wiggly baby or maybe trying to slice a wet egg. Then it was time to face the fragile and wholly unreliable, well, allegedly unreliable zipper again. Oh noes!It zipped back up just fine. On both cases. Which begs the question...what the heck were you people doing to rip these zippers out ? Are you the same people who bend your Kindle the wrong way in the case then sue Amazon when it cracks? Were you in an accident that took away your opposable thumbs?I get that we live in a world where people expect what they want when they want it, but seriously. Its a $9 body pillow cover. Had my zippers broken, I would have gone through the return process, had the product replaced, then covered my body pillows later than expected. What is with the anger levels on these reviews? If you want reliability from a body pillow cover zipper, please go pay a bit more for one at a high end linens store. Ordering this one and complaining bitterly when it disappoints you is like walking into Anna's Linens expecting to find egyptian cotton. That being said, mine worked like a dream and the now matching body pillows really help my other decorative pillows stand up nicely. However, with the pillow count on my bed now at 15, I really am going to go seek that pillow addiction therapy. Maybe there are some steps I can do.

Microsuede pillow case is almost as soft as my old teddy bear and is easy to put on
When I was a little girl, I always slept holding a large teddy bear. When I greewup, I switched to a body pillow. I am just more comfortable when using the body pillow because your limbs align better and there is less pull on the spine, etc.As important as the body pillow is to a good night's sleep for me, the pillow case I use on it is equally important. When the zipper broke on my old one last year, I ran out to a local Bed, Bath and Beyond and bought the only thing they had. The pillow case I got there proved to be rough and wrinkly even when I pulled straight from the dryer. Fabric softener doesn't seem to help that case at all.I finally ordered a new one from Amazon and chose the Newpoint International Inc. Microsuede Body Pillow Cover With Double Sided Zippers. It arrived last week and I'm already planning to order a spare one.The Microsuede material is almost as soft as my old teddy bear was and it looks very nice. I chose the Camel color and it looks really good - more of a caramel color to me.It washed very well, and did fine in the dryer.I especially appreciate the double zippers. You can unzip both, and reach in from one end to pull the pillow into the case, then zip up both ends. The zippers tuck inside the seam so they don't scratch or irritate you while you are using the pillow.I highly recommend this body pillow case.
