Karma and Reincarnation: Unlocking Your 800 Lives to Enlightenment Paperback – October 14, 2010

For all of my life I have intuitively believed in reincarnation. My research into reincarnation and karma began with exhaustive research in public libraries, and lead to university level courses on these topics through the study of Buddhism and Hinduism. My science courses also contributed furtively to my examination and contemplation of these subjects, mainly through the ideas of the indestructibility and transferability of energy throughout nature. As a spiritually inquisitive soul dabbling in numerous traditions and philosophies for many years, I synthesized the knowledge I acquired into a palatable form for my independent spiritual perspectives and practices. However, satisfaction in information and practices were always short lived and I wasn't ever deeply satiated...I longed for deeper knowledge into the logic, processes, purpose, practices, and grander scheme of reincarnation and karma. Until reading Karma and Reincarnation: Unlocking your 800 lives to Enlightenment did I begin to truly gain a comprehensive understanding of the `nuts' and `bolts' of Karma and Reincarnation. This book is a phenomenal read!! The authors obviously placed a great deal of effort and care in their writing and presenting the material... it flows so smoothly and connects a breathtaking amount of information in a practical way with lessons and methods for spiritual practitioners, and has thorough, insightful discussions on the evolution of individuals, humanity and the planet. It is remarkable that the information presented in this book is based on first-hand knowledge!!! Barbara Y. Martin hasn't gathered information from interpretations and reading old manuscripts; it is from knowledge and experiences that came about through guided instruction from spiritually enlightened beings. As humanity is growing in technical knowledge of the material world in science and health, so should the availability of highly inspired, spiritually clarifying information be made available on processes all of humans are inextricably enmeshed within--Karma & Reincarnation. This book provides it.

On one level, I was eagerly awaiting this book as I had read and really loved the two earlier books - Change Your Aura Change, Your Life and The Healing Power of Your Aura. Those were foundation books that changed my life. On another level, I was also somewhat afraid to start reading this book as I did not really know much about karma and reincarnation and was worried that it would possibly be scary and create more confusion on the topics for me. Much to my relief, this book was wonderful and very helpful in presenting both topics in an understandable way to people like me who have avoided exposure to karma and reincarnation topics due to fear. Of most help was the Chapter on the Process of Reincarnation and explanation of what happens one you die, spend time on another plane, interact with spiritual teachers and prepare for your return to earth in the next incarnation. The chapter on Karma and Relationships was like finding a missing puzzle piece and made me view my life and both good and challenging relationships in an entirely new light with much more compassion than I thought possible. While this book is excellent in describing the basic ins and outs (no pun intended) of karma and reincarnation in all aspects of life, it also provides detailed and practical guidance to help you resolve your karma - in concert with your free will - and to understand and learn from your karma by taking inventory, using meditation and prayer as well as initiating right action. The final chapter on The Healing Power of Forgiveness, Compassion and Grace (for yourself and others) sets this book apart from many others on spiritual topics. Karma and reincarnation are not to be feared but revered as natural parts of life knowing that God's grace is with us through every karmic trial. This book also incorporates transformational meditations with divine light which builds on the two earlier books.

I have been reading and highlighting and keep going "Wow!" - it is very "enlightening". Easy to read and understand. I think I'll order another one for a like-minded friend.

This book has a good-solid definition of karma and how it works. Whenever I read a book on metaphysics (which I have no doubt in believing), I always take what want and need and might leave the fine details in the "maybe/maybe not" catagory. In other words, there are some little details in this book about the after-life that contradict what I have read in other books, but that doesn't make this not worth reading. I encourage everyone to read this book to get a good understanding in how you live your life really does matter, if not this minute or in this life, it will sooner or later in another.

I've read all the books of this author and a am totally grateful to those spirits who wrotr this book. Thank you Thank you Thank you...

This is one of the most amazing books I have ever read . It’s an eye opener for the endless experiences we do experience connected to previous lives .
