Not quite as bright as 60w halogen
I purchased 30 of these to replace all of my halogen bulbs in various fixtures. So far they've been great and I really like the light from them, however, I think it might be "optimistic" to consider these as 60w replacements as the listing indicates (technically it says 40W, 50W, 60W). If you look at the description it clearly says 50W and that's probably more accurate as it is ever so slightly brighter than the 40W bulbs I replaced in most of my fixtures, but not quite a bright as the 60W bulbs that were in a few of my fixtures. Admittedly, even among halogen bulbs there's significant variation in light output between bulbs of similar ratings.Regardless, for my use case, they are plenty bright enough, have good color, and use so much less electricity which, by turn, causes them produce significantly less heat, which was one of my primary reasons for replacing the halogen bulbs. That being said, they do still get pretty hot when left on a while, so I'm not sure how the plastic would hold up in a non-ventilated enclosure. Fortunately, that's not a concern for any of the fixtures I'm using these in.I do also plan to install a dimmer on some of my fixtures, so perhaps I'll provide an update once that's done and I see how that works.

Replaced halogens in my range hood
I leave my range hood on 24/7 and was constantly replacing the halogens. These fit nicely and work with the standard dimmer which came with my range hood. It's been about 2 weeks and no flicker and good lighting. The cost is not that much more than the standard halogens. These are about 1.5 times as long but I had plenty of space in my light holder. Given I run these lights 24/7 I suspect I will get a decent payback but mostly I want them to last longer than the standards as I hate replacing light bulbs.

Truly dimmable
They say they are dimmable and they are! I bought another brand and I had to return them because they would not dim to 0, they were, according to my electrician, power robbing LED bulbs. Well these are perfect, they are compatible with my dimmer, they turn off completely and they are nice and bright. As far as durability, I don't know, I just installed them today.

Energy savings doesn't make up for short life.
I like the form factor and the brightness. I'm even happy with the color temperature. What I'm not at all happy with is longevity. One bulb was DOA. I've just had to replace a bulb after about 18 months. These bulbs have been run at max power for about 4hrs/day. So that's just over 2000 hours, not good for LED.

Great replacement for the halogen bulbs
These bulbs are a great replacement for the halogen bulbs. They are much cheaper to run. They look very cool and are fully dimable using the old incandescent dimmer. No special led dimmer necessary. Somewhat expensive but they should last much longer and use less energy than the original lamps.

Bad internal connections, so they flicker or don’t light consistently
Fits G9 socket as advertised. Longer than a halogen G9 bulb, as expected from the pictures. Initially they worked well, but after a few months some started flickering, or dimming on their own, or not lighting at all. Tapping on the bulb would temporarily fix the problem, until you put the light fixture cover back on …Regular halogen bulbs worked fine in the same sockets, as did the one LED bulb that did not develop any problems. Can’t recommend - look for a reliable (not made in China) brand.

Perfect Dimmable Replacement G9 Bulb
Finally used up my last spare G9 incandescent spare bulbs in the fixtures over my kitchen island. Was nervous about the color of these LED replacements, but they were perfect. Bright and great color that was warm, but not overly. Near exact replacement, so much so my wife didn't even notice. They handling dimming well and don't appear to get too hot. Recommend.

Good customer service
One of the LED bulbs started to flicker after a few months of use so I had to replace it. I contacted the seller about this issue and they promptly refunded the price of the bulb to my account. So far the other 5 bulbs are working well. Very bright and well constructed. I hope the flickering was just a one off.

Good Value
So far so good. Dimmable without any issues. I bought 12 for a single light fitting and they gave even and consistent light. Much brighter and a little whiter than expected (not a bad thing in our application) --- a no brainer in replacing the standard G9 halogens - you could dry your hair underneath those suckers! These emit no noticeable heat and cost a fraction to run.

I can leave the lights on now all night
LED lights have become much more affordable now so I bought to sets and changed all lights in that size. It’s really worth the change especially in rooms where lights are left on for long periods of time. I like the warm light better than the white as it’s mor similar to original lights I had and feel good and cozy home rather than an office.I highly recommend this product

Very Short Life - NOT 30,000 hours!
Since I bought two sets of six bulbs October 23rd, six of them have burned out. We have a chandelier with 12 bulbs in it. This is FAR SHORT of 30,000 hours.
