Took some time to put together but well worth it - that way didn’t have to redo anything. Well made, I foolishly didn’t read the dimensions when I bought this. Thought it would be smaller. Duh. But actually I was impressed how big it was for the price! I just got 2 very active kittens and this perfect. When we finished putting it together one of them found the hammock and is taking his nap there. One thing I don’t like is the hanging rope for them to play with. Pieces of rope keep coming off the end. I don’t want them to ingest those pieces so I took it down and will find something to take it’s place. If you decide to do the same, make sure it is something that will not wrap around their neck. The rope it came with was very stiff and non bending.UPDATE: third day in I noticed the carpet is shedding, leaving little puffs of carpet everywhere and do not want these pieces eaten by these curious kittens.Other than that the design is good and the kittens use every part of it. I purchased for my newly adopted cat since she's used to one at her foster home & wanted her to feel welcome & comfortable. She loves it! It was challenging to put together - and I'm excellent at putting together stuff without instructions. Would be nice to have steps listed. This has so many parts and important to know which pieces to connected in what order. Had to take a prior portion apart so I can fit another piece on first. Leaning against wall makes it sturdier and more stable. Feels taller when it's put together.

First of all this entire thing is GREAT! The reviews don’t lie. It’s a big box to carry in but taking everything out & setting up only took me about 30-45 minutes. Everything is so easy to screw on and twist. My cat was biting me and jumping on it the entire time I was building it lol. She loves it. She is probably 10 pounds and small adult female. It’s perfect size for her. Very sturdy and heavy. The material is soft and I love it!!

This cat tower has survived 5 cats and 2 moves so far, and she is going strong. Many battles have been fought on the steps and from the safety of the little tube. SO many naps have happened in the basket, top perch, and hidey-house.My only worry has been about the stability of the top perch. My biggest cat is a chonker and that was her favorite place for 2.5+ years. It's a little wobbly now, but I don't think unsafe.I did not keep the hammock attachment as I felt it was unsafe, but even without it, this is great.The cats have scratched these posts for a long time and it is showing, but I am beyond pleased with how its held up.

We have 2 cats and 1 is at the top all the time! Both scratch on this instead of our furniture. I think if our other cat wasn't so chubby he would be on it to. Easy to put together and a great deal!
