Good for covering the fire and digging holes for tent stakes. pretty short to the ground if you have a problem with bending down. I am in a wheelchair and climbing around so it works for me. I will say that the piece that holds the shovel in place and or pick does not always want to seem to stay in place. I will be the first to admit that it could be user error but considering the price I'm not complaining.

It's smaller than I expected. Consider size before ordering. It fit's under the back seat in my truck and it's perfect for camping but not a full size shovel.
