Bandai Hobby - Star Wars - Darth Vader 1/12 Scale Model Kit

This model kit is incredible good product

Despite Vader’s game and the amount of Star Wars figures out there, it is nonetheless surprisingly difficult to find a good quality, movie accurate, and affordable Darth Vader figure. I collect mostly Black Series figures but I also have some model kits, and this one scales perfectly with all the figures. The height, bulkiness, lightsaber, and details are all flawless as well as the helmet. It requires building, application of stickers and some painting but it is nonetheless a fun and satisfying task to build. Only problem is the sturdy plastic cape which limits articulation and would be better off as a cloth or rubber cape, but on the shelf it still looks fine. It only took a little bit over a week to arrive and also arrived several weeks before the expected date which is very impressive considering this came all the way from Japan. 5 Star Product ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Storm Trooper kit from Bandai was the first model I've built in decades. I enjoyed it so much that Vader was a must buy. I wasn't disappointed.The directions are easy to follow. Everything fits together nicely. Most importantly, the final build is accurate and looks great displayed especially next to the Storm Trooper.There are a few small decals that can be difficult to apply. Where possible I used Gundam Metallic paint markers instead mainly on Vaders chest buttons. The result was good but only because I need a little more skill in the painting department. More advanced modelers will have no problem painting Vaders buttons to perfection.Overall I'm very happy. Vader looks great on display. R2-D2/R5-D4 & C-3Po are next for me but I am most excited about the Scout Trooper and Sand Trooper.

This is a great kit and it was fun to build and paint. Some may be disappointed in how much they need to paint to make him look authentic, because most all the pieces are just black with no color details. The parts fit together well and other than hand painting, the details are pretty good too. As a collector, I was disappointed that my box was damaged and I blame poor packaging on that (putting box in manila mailing package instead of inside a cardboard box).

My son loved this build and it's very durable to play with as an action figure afterwards. He's 10 and never needed an help from me.

What to say about this. It's a lovely kit. Mostly black plastic, inner frame is the same as every other star wars kit.

Wow! Just put it together, took about 2&1/2 hours, so much fun! Lots of tiny parts, but pretty simple instructions and everything just SNAPS together tightly. Probably the BEST 1/12th scale Vader, in my opinion. The cape is weird, but there are a couple of display options. The stickers? Only Ant Man could apply them, good luck. Anyway, this kit is well worth the time and money!!! Functions very well as an action figure when complete. Great articulation, and what a sense of accomplishment and pride, cause you're the one who built it!

This is by far the best Darth Vader figure for the price. This was my second time doing a bandai kit and for a beginner it was pretty easy and a lot of fun! There was some annoyances along the way especially with his cape because it would constantly fall apart but it wasn't something super glue couldn't fix. Also he comes with water decals and stickers. I've used the stickers and it was a pain to put on the smaller ones so I'm thinking it'll come out easier and cleaner to just paint it. But the outcome of the figure is still great and I couldn't be more happier with it.
