Assembly is somewhat complex - expect a lot of screwing and connecting parts. Definitely not a "snap together" toy; younger kids are likely to need some adult assistance. But a satisfying final result.For those reviewers who report that the pig only walks backward: you have assembled it incorrectly. The legs on either side must be connected so that they are oriented in alternate directions - so when the legs on one side are pointed inward (toward each other), the legs on the other side are pointed outward (away from each other). Then the pig walks forward. If the legs on both sides are oriented in the same direction at the same time, then the pig will only slide around backward. This is a well-designed and adorable robot. The instructions, unfortunately, aren't so great and would be especially tough for kids. Problems include grammatical issues, a lack of descriptive language (just a lot of numbers) and pictures which are too small.Additionally, it's unfortunate that the kit contains so many different lengths of screws (which are otherwise identical), adding to the confusion.Still, despite being inelegant, the instruction ARE complete and correct. If you can get past the above issues this makes for a really great little kit.

This was to be put together with help of 7 year old. Screws were not long enough to stay in holes (ended up having to epoxy them in), finally got put together and the motor that operates it causes it to actually run backwards. 7 year old was so looking forward to working with grandfather (who is an engineer) to put this together to only have it be a complete fiasco and failure - do not recommend using this as a beginning project with a child as they will end up disappointed. Instructions are poorly written, and communication with the company is confusing as they don't understand English very well.

Took awhile to put together. Had to replace the batteries as the ones that came with it didn’t work. The motor goes and the pig takes two or three steps before the front left leg comes unscrewed and the pig tips over. Tried different screws, but nothing has corrected the defect. Disappointed kiddo who got a defective toy from Santa.

There is nothing to program, no USB or chips just a motor with an on-off switch. Probably the worst product I have bought on Amazon. A manual that's hard to read, in very small font that's barely legible. Looks like the product content was changed at some point. I will be returning this.

This has been a good project for my 10 year old daughter. She has enjoyed it but it is vague in direcrions so it can be a bit difficult without adult assistance. She hasn’t programmed it yet but so far so good.

The parts are very hard to put together and not stable the screws don’t tighten the cables broken. Low quality

Also: Das ist ein nettes Schweinemodell mit lustigem Hoppeln - kein Roboter. Es fällt nicht so leicht um, die Teile sind getrennt in Tüten verpackt mit Werkzeug und es ist wertig. Aber: Die Anleitung ist ziemlich klein gedruckt und auch ziemlich komplex. Der Aufbau dauert und ist wohl eher etwas für Jugendliche. Bei mir war das Getriebe defekt, der Einschalter hatte eine kalte Lötstelle (die zudem eingeschweißt war) und dann lief das Schwein noch rückwärts, so das die Stromkabel umgelötet werden mussten. Schade...

Dies ist ein sehr interessantes Spielzeug. Erstens besteht es aus Teilen und Schrauben, die ein gutes Design für die Montage haben. Zweitens ist die Anweisung für Kunden sehr gut geschrieben. Obwohl es is für Kinder ein bisschen schwierig zu bauen, können die Eltern ihnen leicht helfen. Endlich haben diese Programmierer Nerds die Möglichkeit, ihre eigenen Programme mit Windows und / oder Linux zu flashen.
