Good tuition
The book was split into lessons; each one I found useful and it didnt have too much information.

Great big picture ideas for intermediate level players
Great big picture ideas for intermediate level players. Has examples to illustrate the ideas, but focusses on Kasparov's philosophy on different aspects of the game (ie. opening, middle game). Written before he was World Champion, which makes some of the commentary particularly interesting.

This study of chess is for beginners and masters alike, it's ideal for learning new tactics and techniques especially the open. It explains in concise clear language with illustrations on why the center is the most important spot on the chessboard. A very good read for those who haven't played a lot of chess recently to those who play chess on a regular bases. For beginners this book explains in science certainty why some moves are better than the obvious expected ones. Kasparov wrote this book for the adults and juniors who seriously want to improve their game.
