MUST HAVE BOOK for Event and Tourism Students
An essential resource packed full of great contemporary models that relate so well to modules students will study at university. There are may management and strategic methods all contextualised and provided with useful discussion. The 'Event Differentiation Model' is one of my favourites.I encourage students on our courses (Event/Tourism/Marketing) to use this as an essential resource book..... I have my own personal copy at home which is regularly used in teaching preparation.

A little gem - versatile, comprehensive and contemporary
The 87 models that have been identified for Event, Venue and Experience Managers provide a go-to resource for students that is exceptionally easy to follow.Furthermore, I highly recommend this book to academics engaged in designing event management courses as it provides an overarching managerial framework model that can underpin the development of a module. I particularly found the section on how to craft exceptional end-to-end customer experiences invaluable.
