Z1 K4 OsteoAlign Hinged Knee Brace - Knee Support for ACL, MCL, Ligament Sports Injuries, Arthritis (OA), Meniscus Tear, Relief from Knee Joint Pain with Side Stabilizers for Men & Women Size (Large)

When I first got this brace, I had trouble putting it on. And it was extremely uncomfortable. It seemed to be way too small, however, when I had ordered it, I was very careful to measure my leg for proper fitting of the brace. So I would only wear it about 5-10 minutes at a time. At one point I gave up and chunked it into my closet. A few weeks later I dug it back out and decided to try again. It took far longer than I had expected for my brace to finally conform to my leg. It took nearly a month, but the brace has finally broken in and actually fits my leg ALMOST perfectly. The lower part of my brace actually needs to be quite a bit longer, as I have really large, powerful calves that cause the lower part of the brace to fall right where my calves are at their widest. As such, even when I’m standing upright, the lower part of the brace is angled about 10 degrees backwards to accommodate my calf muscles. This brace works best when worn as tightly as possible. At first it felt like my leg was being put into a major clamp, but once it broke in and conformed to my leg better, it became far more comfortable to wear. Now I’m able to wear it throughout the day. It’s eliminated nearly all the pain in my knee. I’ve worn unloader braces in the past, as I’m a retired Navy Veteran. Ship’s steel decks are really hard on the knees, causing the cartilage to wear away quicker than it ever should. This brace is both more comfortable and provides better support than those braces did in the past. I’m glad I didn’t give up on it.

This brace took over 1 month to ship and receive for my son. The intentions for this brace was for my son to wear during football season for his weak knee. No where in the description of this item did it say for light use. The attached pictures (3) is what it looked like after using it for one game. The covers for the pivot were plastics of which both broke completely off during his wear. By that happening it exposed the bolts on each side. Product is poorly made. Don’t waist your money. I am very disappointed.

Have used this brace for about a month now. Fits well, adds stability and decreases pain. Works for both medial and lateral compartment arthritis, the compartment "unloaders" adjust nicely & are slotted so that when the knee is bent, the pads stay in place. Tried placing a cloth sleeve under the brace, but works best with less slipping when applied on the skin. Allen wrench, & extra pads are included. Is well constructed and some thoughtful engineering went into product development. Would definitely purchase again if needed. Believe I can get another year before knee replacement.

Although I bought a large, I can't complain. It does what I want it to do and that is take the load off my knee. Once you get the straps adjusted correctly, it does it's job. I feel I could have gone with a medium size and would have been happier, in that it would fit comfortably under my work pants. Future purchase, I will buy a medium. The only reason I gave four stars is that it squeaks and it's annoying. I would have like to have used this while hunting.

i am 4"11 and about 140 lbs my i measured my thigh with the tape measure leaving at least an inch for the padding and measure with the numbers face off the skin it fits great adds support mybleg is swollen in the pics but i cant walk with out the brace due to recent injury it comes with 2 allen wrenches for adjustment and 2 extra knee pads this is a life savor

We have had 2 or these and they have both broke in 2 months and 2 weeks. This is the second one the metal broke.

I ordered the size as per the instructions, now that I finally have the brace. I found that the straps are way to short, the lower calf part does not sit on the calf. And one of the pressure hinges fell off When I got the brace the 2 hinges looked like they were worn already. Go to a store and buy a real brace

Got this for my daughter as she has knee issues. She finds it very helpful and comfortable to wear while working landscaping.

The customer service team are great, and the support itself is really sturdy. Strong velcro and non slip backing means the brace stays in place well. It allows a good range of movement, yet keeps the knee in line. Easy to use, and adjust. The top and bottom parts are solid, so measure the leg as described in the description to ensure it fits. It doesn't stop you bending the knee, and you can do things like stairs without having to swing your leg out to the side. I am wearing it following ligement damage, and 2 weeks in, it's made a difference. I can still move around in it, but knowing I can't go out of line is great. I did find the pads at the side of the knee took a bit of playing around with to get it right, but they are so easy to adjust with the tool. I just had it in my bag for the first few days.

I need a new Knee and this brace holds it together great so i can walk.

Looked very sturdy initally however has broken after 3 uses! Not what you expect after paying what it was! Really disappointed.
