Great for square head set screws
I work on garage doors and the set screws for the lift springs are 3/8" square head. Well, about 90% of them are. Normally I would use a 7/16" 12 point socket but after a while they would wear and you would have to fight a little to get it on the set screw. This socket has been working well so far. Hopefully it will last a lot longer than the other sockets I have used in the past.If you work on garage doors, this is a nice addition to your tool kit.

Hard to find at local hardware store and a great value!
Works exactly as expected. I needed a 3/8 inch square pipe plug socket to fit the bolts on a garage door tension drums and springs. I tried open-end wrenches and crescent wrenches but found both very awkward. This socket worked perfectly.Great value!

Odd little socket for working on garage door springs.
7/16" 12-point socket can also do the job, but well, this 4-point socket is THE correct one.Apparently, it's also useful for some plumbing work, but I know nothing about that... yet.

Tough little socket - worked perfect for removing broken spark plug with #5 easy out
Had a broken spark plug in an 07 Torrent. #5 screw extractor bit deep but I couldn't drive the square end of it with anything. I ruined 3 12-point bits, broke a box wrench and even stripped out a Proto brand 8-point socket.This plug socket fit onto the end of my hardened screw extractor and I was able to FINALLY remove the broken spark plug. Literally the only tool that worked. At 7$ bucks and free 2 day shipping, it can't be beat!

Not a 3/8” Female-Female Adapter
The 3/8” pipe plug depth is significantly more shallow than the 3/8” driver side. It doesn’t function perfectly as a female female 3/8” adapter.

I needed this for my Segway lift that had a male 3/8 male square crank post.
This is perfect for my needs.It’s a double sided 3/8 female ended adapter.Can anyone ever have enough tools?

Great Tool, but...
The only reason I gave this four stars is because it is a bit of a loose fit on the 3/8in-drive side, coming off of the wrench more easily than expected during use. It does the job tho.
