I’m so happy I found these bowls. My cat is constantly either playing in or purposefully spilling his water.Automatic water dispensers are a big no because he will sit for literal HOURS and empty the bowl because he likes the hear the dispenser “glug”. I couldn’t even make this stuff up. I’ve come home after an 8 hour work day to find the jug bone dry (after filling it the morning of) because he has sat and emptied it.Because of this I switched to a normal water bowl and retired the water dispenser. My cat then started to drink the water by laying on his side with half of his face in the bowl, causing it to spill over due to the weight of his head. I didn’t know what to do, so I resorted to just constantly cleaning up the spilled water. After all, at this point I figured at least he wasn’t doing it on purpose…Until he was. He figured out that if he stuck his paw in the bowl and pushed down, he could spill the water onto the ground and then play in it. I searched high and low to find the perfect bowl. I considered ordering the “spill proof” bowls you see but knew he would still figure out how to dump it. I even moved his water dish into the bathtub so in the event he did spill it, I didn’t have to wipe it up every day.Then I found these. He has NEVER spilled them or even been able to since the rim of the dish/the actual bowl isn’t visible. The mat itself doesn’t move around and stays in place. It’s easy to toss in the sink and wipe down, and the bowls I just toss in the dishwasher every once in a while. I fill both of the dishes with water (as opposed to one with food) because he still plays in them every once in a while, but he also just drinks constantly.I highly recommend these bowls for the pet that spills everything!

if your cat constantly flips their water bowl get this. i haven’t seen her in action trying to flip this one but if she tried, it didn’t work. i haven’t had any water on the floor since purchasing 😁

My cat would always put his paw in the water of anything I used and spill it over and then drink. I have no idea why. I tried everything from different bowls to cat fountains. He even tipped the fountain over. Finally with this he can’t rip it and it’s perfect for cleaning

I have tried several different bowls for our cats because one of them was pulling the bowl around and spilling it all over my floor. This mat/bowls are great. We have had no mess since this. If they splash a little it goes on the rubber mat so it's easy cleanup and no more messes on my floor. The bowl is larger and holds a little more water so it's heavier so the cat can't drag it around.

Good product

I had high hopes for this design, but my youngest cat still managed to flip both the water bowl and the food bowl. A couple of times, he flipped the water bowl into the food bowl and vice versa. On the plus side, most of the water spills onto the mat and not on the floor. I still give this cat feeder 4 stars because my cat is such a phenom at bowl flipping.

My cat understands only violence and malice. She is cranky and overweight and nothing gives her more pleasure in life than knocking over her water bowl. Without fail, each and every time she has some water she proceeds to throw her girth into the bowl to knock it over or otherwise overturn it. This is a troublesome as it is beginning to cause damage to my hard wood floor, that is soaking up the spillage. This bowl is sturdy enough to withstand the full rage of my cat. It does not slide on the floor and the two bowls when filled, are too heavy even for my cat to push with all of her weight behind her. Truly a useful product for the owner of such a spiteful creature.

The media could not be loaded.  I really liked the idea of easy to clean splits etc, but it came all bent out of shape, which I wasn’t expecting. Now the lifted sections of rubber are prime spots for my puppy to chew on. Won’t be able to use it like this. Not sure if it will flatten out in the sun or something so I might just send it back. To bad!

I have tried many other bowls in the past for my cat Joey and he has always pushed his bowls throughout the kitchen. Finally, bowls that stay in place, along with a very handy non slip mat! Love it!! Easy to clean mat and very well made!! I highly recommend this product from this seller!! Arrived sooner than expected and in perfect condition! Very happy with my purchase! We needed a food and water dish that our dog couldn't tip over or move across the kitchen floor. This product, with the silicone mat and the fitted areas of the two bowls, is the best solution we've found so far. Our medium-sized dog is able to flip the corner of the mat, but she's not able to tip the bowls. We also love that the mat catches most of the mess, esp. the water. No more lakes on the kitchen floor!

I have the messiest cat on the planet. I swear he only uses his water bowl to wash and splash water everywhere. I've tried many sets and although this one isn't perfect, it's the best so far. Bowl mat has a lip around the edge that holds most of his spilled water. Honestly, I think the only way my cat would be contained is by giving him a bathtub.
