This is 24AW gauge wire in a variety of colours. It’s easy to work with, in particular the silicone insulation can be removed by hand by pinching between nails. The cardboard container has holes to feed the wire through which keeps everything nice and tidy rather than having spools of wire lying all over the place.I’ve been using it for connecting a variety of sensors to ESP boards. I suspect this will last me a long time but will be getting the same again when needed.

Nice reels of electrical wire, for general automotive uses. Easy to cut, plus solder. Didn't come in the box shown so reels dispense out of the holes for convenience. But pleased with the purchase.

These silicone coated wires are absolutely fantastic for electronics prototyping. The insulation completely resists soldering heat (tested up to 350C), and they are much more flexible than the standard PVC wires.A small price to pay for that is that the insulation diameter, for the same wire thickness, is a bit larger than the PVC.And the insulation is not rated for 230V AC use.

I needed some cheap multicoloured 22awg wire, and this was just the ticket. I like the fact that the box doubles as a dispenser. The wire is solid core, so is quite stiff, but is perfect for breadboarding and stripboard links. This wire will also get used for retro computer repair where flexibility is less of an issue.

I purchased this a while ago now and have used it a lot to make custom length breadboard wires. Good quality & true copper wire (not aluminium or other "metals". Would buy again.

Was unsure after reading a few reviews, but after checking the wire on receiving it (delivered quickly overnight) I can confirm the inner wires appear to be tinned copper and not inferior CCA (copper clad aluminium). I checked by first doing a scratch test - orange coloured metal under the tin. Then a resistance test - and and 0.12 ohms/meter this cable meets 26AWG spec. Also did a burn test - and the wire didn’t melt (CCA would have burnt). Strand count accurate, but I measured 0.07mm/strand instead of 0.08mm - though this may be my cheapo micrometer! Good value, nice touch with the Velcro wraps to keep the reels tidy, and cables are easy to strip, solder and are nice and flexible. Recommended. Just make sure to buy the right wire gauge for your needs - and remember that with AWG the bigger the number the thinner the wire.

Like soldering slippery noodles. Prefer my wire to be a little stiffer.

I have been diagnosing wiring problems on cars and rewiring cars since the middle 60's and have never seen a better wire. Strong, flexible, low resistance, easy to splice or solder. Just a really good choice.

These wires are amazing quality and the box that comes with it is super handyPs. These wont fit on a pref board to big still amazing tho
