Q: How does it run in size?

In my case it ran true to size. My son is 20 months old and the 12-24 months fit him perfect. We absolutley loved it.

Q: Is this appropriate for Halloween costume?

We are using it as one. I ordered furry feet slippers for our son's feet. The hood is extremely large. I'm going to alter it in the back to make it stand out a little more.

My grandson is eight months old and the 6 to 12 month outfit looks like it will fit him just a little big. Although he is a little bigger than your average eight month old. I hope that helps
