It goes together really easy. Put your Pi in, download their image, upload games, play. The battery is up to you and can vary your game play, so make sure and not cheap out. Unless you want to play tethered to the wall.The biggest caution on this is that the edges are a bit sharp. It won't cut you, but it's not easy to hold for periods longer than an hour.

Bought for myself! Couldn’t program myself & messed up all my images in the process,They are very understanding and will help or correct the problem ASAP! & Have actual Great Customer Service! Please give them a shot if you think your up for the challenge! I have photos of my whole process.

It is easy to assemble and works great.You will love it.For make it running,a raspberry pi and an 18650 battery will be needed.You can download the drivers from waveshare website to make the controls and screen to work. Fantastic little unit, especially if you’re familiar with raspberry pie. Great vibrant screen, the volume is very difficult to get to, gotta take a few steps to get to it. Can handle most games thrown at it! Very satisfied.

None of my buttons work

Easy to set up - took about 10 mins to get Pi installed.Buttons pretty good - have taken a good beating from me.Sound is great - and even better from headset.Joystick takes a little getting used to..... the throw is a little large - as some reviewers online have mentioned but play enough with it that little issue just disappears.Screen is sharp and colours great.Def recommend over the overpriced specialist emulators out there.

Se avete un Raspberry e non sapete come utilizzarlo, beh...questo è il modo più simpatico!Sembra di avere una mini console palmare ma con tutta la storia dei videogames dentro!Sul sito del produttore Waveshare si trova il file IMG già configurato e pronto all'uso con os Retropie 4.4.Se avete intenzione di aggiornarlo alla 4.5.1 (disponibile al momento in cui l'ho acquistato) dovete ricordarvi di eseguire alcune operazioni:- modificare l'autologin dopo il riavvio- reinstallare i drivers del controller e riconfigurarloSono tutte operazioni semplici se avete già messo le mani su Retropie o se masticate Linux, altrimenti lasciate il tutto come il produttore lo distribuiscePS. il file che viene scaricato contiene già molti giochi, potete comunque integrarne altri.Lo schermo è decisamente ottimo come resa, a differenza di molte micro console portatili che montano LCD, questo è un IPS e si vede bene in ogni situazione!Da acquistare separatamente:- una batteria litio 18650, meglio se ad alta capacità e di marca...diffidate dalle occasioni, se ci giocate parecchio consuma!- una micro SD da almeno 16Gb (per il file img del produttore) di buona qualità- un raspberry se no lo avete ;)- un alimentatore micro USB da almeno 2A. Ricordate che se è in carica e lo scollegate il Raspberry si spegne (nel caso sia acceso). Utilizzate lo spegnimento "controllato" e non direttamente l'interruttore!L'unica cosa che realmente manca è un case adeguato, se avete una stampante 3D (o conoscete qualcuno che la ha) potete stamparvi un case, si trovano tranquillamente vari modelli on-line.I tasti sono un po' "legnosi" e sinceramente penso non dureranno molto, sono comunque sostituibili se vi intendete di saldatura (nel caso accada fatevi aiutare da chi sa come fare), i ricambi si trovano benissimo a costi decisamente ottimi.Un bel gingillo, che ha permesso al mio raspi di essere utilizzato nuovamente!
