Yankee Candle 8 Assorted Votives + Free Votive Holder Variety Theme (Floral)

I bought these because I enjoy having a variety of votive candles to burn in my bathroom, I collect Yankee Candles and prefer trying out scents before I commit to a jar, my nearest brick-and-mortar Yankee Candle store is 30-40 mins away by car, and gas prices are astronomical. I'm not sure I would purchase this again, though. It was much more money than I would have spent for this amount of votive candles at the store (of course, factoring in the gas money...well, I'd have to consider that), and I think most of what I paid was for a little cup that you're supposed to burn the candles in. It's cute enough but is too shallow and small for these candles, and I think I'll just use it as a shot glass instead. This is a fun product but be warned that if you ask for "food" or "floral" scents you will get a mixture of all the different kinds of scents rather than just the category of scent that you asked for.

The individual plastic wrappings are almost impossible to remove without damaging the candle.

They were smaller than I had expected. The variety was good. The glass was different but it was still nice. My mom liked them for mother’s day. We only got one duplicate, the mango peach salsa; which is actually one of the best. So, that was fine. Overall it was a good purchase, could have been more affordable, but it’s understandable with the brand. May purchase again.

Bought this as a sample kind of gift (wanted to see which one the person like more). Kind of back fired on me cause she liked all of them lol. They were smaller than I expected and kind of expensive. To me some smell good and some smell kind of weird. As you can tell I'm not a candle person.

I knew what I was getting with Yankee candles and I wasn’t disappointed- great scents and long lasting. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star rating was the fact that I ordered “fresh scents” and 4 of the 10 I received were Christmas candles, which smell good but not what I would qualify as “fresh”.

Keep in mid that this is wax and wick only, not in glass or any sort of container so you'd also need something to place it in to burn it- I was unaware of this when ordering and resorted to using a tin can >.<
