Fit and worked perfectly.
Although it’s not quite as heavy duty as the Factory piece it is still well made and fit perfectly.I was able to install the Harbor freight Dado blade and it all worked without a flaw.

Defective item! :(
My original table saw insert has a extra mechanism in the finger hole that locks the insert into pace This is missing from the one I bought in Amazon. I should have checked earlier but now the return window is over and unfortunately I am stuck with a defective item!!!

Does not have spring latching mechanism like original insert (SEE PHOTOS)
Tried to find this part number (371663, Hitachi Dado Table Insert) at store I purchased saw and at Hitachi Website without luck. Also, general part number searches online - no luck. Only one I found was on Amazon had Hitachi name, fit job site saw number (C10RJ) and Hitachi part number that was listed in the saw operator instruction manual. However, there were no pictures on Amazon so I wanted to included some here for others. It DOES fit the table saw, but has a metal "friction clip" instead of the spring latching mechanism like the original table insert. Took some force getting it back out and I did bend the metal clip a bit and had to bend it back. Side by side, they look identical in manufacture and quality (weight, rigidity, etc), but could be just a good copy (see photos). It is made in China by Koki (HiKOKI?) Holdings Co and says it is "compatible with Hitachi Power Tools and Metabo HPT tools." I have not used it with my DeWalt dado blades, yet, but it looks like it will work okay. Gave it 4 stars because it did not include the original type latching mechanism, which I was expecting, and not sure how durable that little clip will be. It was shipped quickly and it was reasonably priced at $22.39. Not sure if Hitachi makes their own, or this is the one Hitachi would sell you if you could find it elsewhere.

Fits the Hitachi / Metabo C 10 RJ
The media could not be loaded. Exactly what you need if you have this kind of table saw and a dado stack.

Hitachi dado with spring clip
Wanted to start dadoing (is that a word?) and needed this for my Hitachi C10RJ table saw. The insert fits into the saw as designed. There are a few issues to deal with (much which has been mentioned before I'm sure). The dado plate is secured with a spring clip on the end that normally would have a trigger latch (pics 2, 3, 4). Unfortunately, it is of poor design. The first few times the spring clip got "caught" on the underneath lip of the table. Had to pry it out and rebend it back in shape. I played around with it for a while where this would no longer happen however, it's just not a tight-snug fit. One star off.The dado width size is slightly smaller than your standard plate. it leave about an 1/8 gap between the outside edge and table. Which is workable, but just seems clunky (it can slide left-to-right). See pictures 6 & 7. Fortunately, it does not slde badly enough to impact the blade. One star off.At first, the plat would not stay flat. Finally realized it was not a set-screw issue, but the plate is slightly warped (probably due to one end is open/not conneted together, which IS like the normal plate). A slight bend and got it to set how you would want it to.Now, There are two small metal plates at the bottom side of unit. Apparently stuck on with sticky tape, as one came off when I went to insert (picture 5, right side). I did stick it back down , we'll see if it lasts.Other than that, it "appears" to serve it's purpose. I won't be doing a lot of dados, if I do, I might just opt for making my own plate. Time will tell how long it will hold up.

Works Great! Fits the Hitachi and Metabo table saws
I couldn't find this dado insert anywhere local. Ordered this hoping it would fit... happy to say it fits perfectly. It snaps into place and stays put... it doesn't rattle or flop --- like homemade inserts I've used in the past. The Hitachi table saw with the gears driving the fence is an awesome jobsite / homeowners table saw that is surprisingly precise. This insert expands its abilities.

Be careful what you order
This product comes in two designs. One has rounded ends The other Square. Both are for Hitachi.I returned mine and was told and was told I would be credited.I never got credited and that was a couple of months ago.So Amazon has my plate and my money.
