Worth giving them a try.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I was a bit sceptical whether our Puppy would use these, however she cottoned on really quickly and now uses them whenever she wants to go out. We recently went away for a weekend and took them with us and she used them there too.

Ding Dong - puppy potty power
Took the puppies (8weeks old). 24 hours to learn this little trick. Puppy pads disappeared from day 4. You need perseverance though. We spend every 15 mins taking puppies to bell, picking up their paw ringing it then opening door and saying Wee Wee. Neighbours must think we are mad but it worked

Well made
First of all this is exceptionally well made, strong webbing and good jangly bells in 3 groups which can be removed quite easily. I like that there are 2 sets as I eventually want to also use it on an internal door to stop her scratching at the paintwork before I redecorate.2 things which have nothing to do with how the product is made. Firstly I bought it to go on the handle of a upvc backdoor but the handle is sort of rounded so the loop slips off. I have solved this by putting it on a stick on hook.Secondly my dog is terrified of it and won't go anywhere near it. 😁 I have removed all but the bottom set so it is not so noisy and I hope in time she will get used to it. In the meantime I jangle the bells so she knows the backdoor is open and she scoots past --- a work in progress🤔Update, Freya got used to it and now uses it with alacrity. A very successful purchase.

Will work for older dogs
I can’t give this top stars as at the moment, it scares the daylights out of my puppies. But, I can see that for bigger dogs this would work well.It is actually a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be and they are some decent sized bells on it! It is hard to miss the noise when it is pulled.I have had to take mine down due to the fact that it scares them into peeing on the floor, but once they are older and potty trained, I will give it another go.

Nice product puppy liked it
Really helpful with puppy toilet training. Strong and sturdy. Hangs with the loop on the door handle nicely.

Irritatingly effective
We bought this for our dog so she wouldn’t scratch the door. It is easy and convenient We were pleased our puppy caught on quickly. She even rings it when she wants our attention or maybe because it amuses her to watch stop whatever we’re doing to open the door 😝
