Herbal Essences Store: Herbal Essences Chamomile Shine Conditioner, 33.8 FL OZ Polymer Pump Bottle I have used this conditioner product for many, many years and I am still very happy with the product and its performance. The conditioner product works very well and does not cause me any scalp or skin irritation like some other products that I have tried so often do. The smell of the product is reasonably pleasant and is not overwhelming. The product’s Amazon page description says that the product contains “Chamomile, Aloe Vera and Passion flower essences” and I will take their word for it. I would not know Chamomile from Passion flower without access to an encyclopedia reference resource, but the scent is pleasant. While the scent is pleasant to me, it does not stick around for an interminable period of time. This is a good thing. I really do not like using products that remind you (and everyone around you) that you used them before the sun came up. I particularly like that this product is made available in a large polymer bottle with a pump unit that actually works. The large polymer bottle makes the product more economical to purchase for the long run, the pump unit make it very easy to use, and the polymer bottle makes it safe to use in the shower. I just place this product (and the associated shampoo product which also comes in a large polymer bottle with a pump unit) on my shower’s corner shelf and I am good for several months. I do not use the conditioner product every time I wash my hair, but I do use it more often in the winter or when I have been in the sun a lot. I find I use the shampoo product twice as fast as I use the conditioner product, but maybe that is just my needs and preference. Consequently, I purchase and use about twice as much shampoo product as the conditioner product. In any event, I am very happy with the products. Thanks for producing a great and economical product.

My wife grew up using this conditioner as a kid and wanted it for our kids as well. It works great and smells great, rinsing out cleanly. Our kids are 3+ so getting it in the eyes doesn't happen as often, but it hasn't bothered them even so. The large size is also fantastic as it's one less thing to worry about running out with frequent use.

I really like this conditioner. Have been using it for a few weeks now, and it does a great job. My hair is fine and prone to breaking, so I'm always on the lookout for products that help me NOT damage my hair. This HE conditioner does a better job of moisturizing my hair, which makes it much less likely to tangle badly. My hair is softer after a shower now, but not to the point of feeling like I have some sort of greasy product on it. My only criticism is that the bottle is a bit awkward for my small hands. It's just a bit too heavy and wide. Not a problem if you have 'normal' sized hands.

I love Herbal Essences! I’ve been using their products for at least 20 years now. Makes me feel old to say that! I’ll never forget those commercials they used to air with the girl washing her hair & making the moan noises. A bit weird as a kid, but still a fantastic shampoo & conditioner! I love the scents of basically all their shampoos, delicious but not overwhelmingly strong. I have limp straight hair that gets oily fast & this shampoo & conditioner always makes my hair feel so clean & smell good. All the variations of the brand have proved fantastic for my hair, including this shine collection chamomile. 5 stars from me, a die hard enthusiast of this brand!

I've enjoyed using this conditioner for a few washings now and like the way my rather long (at present), thick wavy hair responds to it. It's a large container, 1 L (33.8 ounces) with a user-friendly pump style delivery of the creamy "Herbal Essences" contents. I followed directions and applied the lotion root to tip generously and allowed it to absorb for 5 minutes or so for a deep conditioning before the final rinse. It leaves my hair smelling fresh and unlike a previous conditioner it was unnecessary to use a detangler for the combing out process, which I like. PETA endorses this Proctor and Gamble conditioner as cruelty free; it has been dermatologist tested with positive results and is color safe. The ingredients include both passionflower and chamomile extract along with aloe leaf juice, while the container indicates it has 0% parabens and colorants. Information about the conditioner is also provided on the recyclable bottle in both English and French.

Herbal essence chamomile conditioner does exactly what it advertises. My hair is super soft, shiny, and smells great. It's safe for color treated hair and is cruelty free. It doesn't leave my hair greasy at all, but makes it feel lighter and clean. The bottle it comes in is surprisingly very large and only a little is needed per use. Excellent product, worth the price.
