This book was written by AI, and not well. Its as if the 'author' didn't even read it afterwards, like a lazy student. For each new element introduced, there's a new metaphor, so it doesn't make anything easier to understand because there are so many metaphors. There's also a lot of repetitive overly fawning language describing the 'amazing fascinating world of...' - I'm not quoting here but paraphrasing. The book is too annoying to even look at. The 'author' describes himself as a 'prompt engineer', so there is the explanation. I would have chosen no stars if that was an option.

As someone who always found biochemistry intimidating, this book was a game changer! It breaks down complex topics into easy-to-understand concepts with vivid examples. The relatable scenarios make it engaging and the real-world applications helped me see the relevance of biochemistry in everyday life. It’s a must-read for anyone looking to demystify this challenging subject.

Regardless of whether this book was AI generated (one wonders why there is no bibliography), and beyond the overuse of metaphors, this book is basically useless without illustrations (there are zero) that show chemical structures and biochemical pathways.
