My kittens gained weight and flourished on Blue Buffalo. I then moved them to Friskies where they lost weight and muscle. Moving back to Blue ASAP

This is only the second day my huge kitten has eaten this pate. My kitten seems to be part Maine Coon so he is a big boy. I gave him part of a can yesterday because I did not know if he would like it or if it would cause diarrhea or some of the other things I read in other reviews. I gave him a small amount and he ate it and then he took off running throughout my mobile home. I'm thinking does that food have catnip? No it doesn't but that's how he reacted. Eventually, he came back and ate the rest. It seemed to agree with him, so I gave him more later on mixed with water because he likes his wet food WET. I had forgotten to do that when I gave him the first taste of the pate. He slurped it right up and it seems to agree with his tummy. In fact, at this point, I would say it more than agrees with his tummy. One of the reasons I bought this food was to see if it lessened the odor of his poop. I guess I should say stench instead of odor. My mobile is not very big so in the past, I could tell when he had a bowel movement. Eewww Since he ate this yesterday afternoon, I have not smelled his poop. I keep trying to think of a better word than poop but it's early so that has to suffice. This is an expensive cat food, but if it helps his tummy, I'm going to do my best to keep buying it. It helps his tummy and my nose. I will only feed him part of a can at a time. Like a treat instead of a meal. He's a cat. He doesn't know any better. This cat food is working for me and apparently it has worked for others but like anything pertaining to cats you never know what's gonna be a hit or a miss. I'm really glad I tried it. I will update this review if anything changes.

My kitten absolutely loves this wet food! The smell isn’t bad either specially the salmon one. My kittens breath definitely smells better. He has gained some weight. Appearance isn’t bad. I do put half wet and half dry food so the can can lasts him two days. Over all quality and the size of the and are good for my Colby jack Cheese.

We had a kitten climb up under our semi engine, & of course we kept her:) 7 wks old. I grabbed this along with formula & it’s great food! We have 2 elders that are on Blue buffalo too. This lil stinkers growing big & healthy thank you blue buffalo:) I wanna mention that it’s pate but softer than normal Cat pate.

Got this for my kittens and they loved it! They are pretty small containers, but the quality makes up for it! My cats go crazy everytime I open a can. Texture & appearance match what I’d expect from quality wet cat food.

When we first started the "subscribe and save" for this product, it came in three flavors; 2 cans of each type and now it has been reduced to two flavors! From other reviews I am reading, our kittens are not the only ones getting finicky about the lack of variety. However we are not having the same issues that a number of other reviewers seem to be having with their kittens getting tummy problems. Our kittens (3) are all (and cats 3) strays that we adopted and continue to care for but it is so absurd that the providers are reducing variety on us. What pleases us most about Blue is that these foods are U.S. made and supposed to be of U.S. sourced, real wholesome foods for our beloved animals. We are grateful for this product and don't begrudge Blue of making a profit but for crying out loud already, STOP REDUCING OUR VARIETIES AND QUANTITY! We switched from the Racheal Ray products because the sizes are too small for our six kittens and cats and we just cannot afford the product anymore. Give us all a break Blue, please. I hope this helps. UPDATE 11\07\23: Today we cancelled our subscription for this product because our kittens will not eat it anymore. They keep eating the adult foods ( dry and wet ) and leaving the pate uneaten. This started a week ago so they still eat the dry kitten food and we are keeping it since the adult cats like eating it from time to time as well. They ate this for three months until now.

This seems to be denser than the Baby Blue. I will pay attention to see how the almost cat tolerates it.

I purchased this set of wet kitten food, as well as some treats from the blue brand and the kitten will not touch either!? The blue brand seems like the healthier option but unfortunately for us it is not gong to work.

I've joked from day one that my kitten is not fussy eater. He's free feeding of dry kibble. Which he loves your brand. But he has to take a double sniff of your chicken and salmon pate. And only eats half of what I give him. The wet is what he looks forward to. Now I have 10 cans to try and figure out how to get him to eat it.
