Good, cheap grommets for home use
If you need some grommets for an office or some other location where they will be used often, don't buy these: buy a more rugged and durable (and expensive) product. But if you need them for TV cables or something at your house, where you rarely pull the cables in and out, then this product is for you. I didn't have a 2 and 3/8 inch hole saw, so I tested these with a 2 and 1/2 inch hole in a piece of scrap wood. The fit was very loose, as you'd expect, so the solution is to either buy the correct size hole saw or to caulk or silicone the grommet into place. With the proper sized hole I'm sure the grommet would just slide right in. As other reviewers have mentioned, the little sliding door works, but doesn't feel very durable. It's easy to push it in and slide it open, and the spring returns it to the closed position. This is a great product for light home use, and looks much cleaner and neater than just a bare hole.

As described
These worked out great! We decided to hide all the chords that were running on the wall in the laundry room and this just made it looks so much better. Thank goodness my husband is very handy. He knew exactly what to do and according to him it was easy, Peezy, 123. as you can see from the picture, it looks good. A+ quality, super pleased with this.

Sturdy, Well-Designed Grommets (Measure First, Learn from Me)
These desk grommets are well-made and feel solid right out of the package. The plastic is sturdy, the finish is clean, and the spring-loaded opening works smoothly. You can either pop the cap off completely or slide cables through the opening without removing it, which makes cable management much less annoying. They didn’t end up fitting my desk, but that one is entirely on me for not measuring first. The grommets themselves are exactly as described, and the sizing is accurate. I’m saving them for another desk project or possibly enlarging the existing holes, because they’re too nice to waste. Overall, these are thoughtfully designed, easy to use, and clearly made to tidy up cables without drama. Just measure your desk holes before ordering, and you’ll be very happy. I’d absolutely recommend them for the right setup.

Great value for acceptable, but not high quality grommets.
I ordered the five pack of the 2" version. I am happy with these grommets, but a few things to keep in mind: 1) I used a 2" hole saw for the openings I cut to use these in. The grommets sit in the holes too loosely for my liking, and will sometimes readily pop out of the hole if you pull on a cord fed through it. Solution was to wrap the underside of the grommet side profile with a few wraps of electrical tape to make for a tighter fit. 2) The tops don’t snap onto the grommet base with any authority, unlike more expensive versions I typically buy from the big box stores. They mostly stay on pretty well, but lack the assuring “snap” you would expect to feel and hear from other versions. If a cord you run through the top is one that will get pulled in and out frequently, I would expect the top to pop off more often than not. Otherwise, a non-issue. Yes, they look and feel just a tad flimsy compared to ones I normally use, but quite frankly, you get a five pack of these for the price of a single name brand version. Bottom line - I think these are an excellent value and would order again.

Fits a 2" cable hole, spring-loaded mini-door opens wide enough for cables
These grommets have two apertures - you can pop out the entire center disc for a 2" hole (in order to feed a 3-prong power cable through) and then there's a spring-loaded mini-door, which opens wide enough for the chonkiest of indoor cables to pass. Per the photos, I was able to feed a pretty beefy 12v DC barrel connector through that door. The key, of course, is measuring the hole you want to fill. These don't adjust. They'll fit a 2" hole just fine, but that's it.

Perfect for white cabinetry
(2" Spring Desk Grommet, JTemgle Plastic Cable Hole Cover Computer Table Cord Wire Organizer Caps Desktop Cord Management for Home Office TV Stands Tabletops - White, 10 Pcs / $8 at the time of ordering) Great price for a good set of inexpensive grommets. These are great for desks and nightstands when running cables. But I also use these in cabinets when doing renovations. A 50mm hole saw (pretty standard size) cuts the perfect hole for these. And water hose lines from dishwashers fit perfectly through the hole opening. And the finished look with the grommet is so much better than just a rough hole cut in a new cabinet. Homeowners that I’m doing the work for are very happy. Quality of these grommets are just good. They’re not bad in any way. They are just a lightweight plastic that covers a rough opening. So they doesn’t need to be any more durable. Once they’re set, they don’t see much use. These also have grooves on the side of the grommet help to hold it in place. Some grommets have ‘barely there’ grooves. So the ones on these are good. But additionally, I usually apply a small amount of glue. This not only holds it better in the long run but it also creates a more snug fit in the hole. These also have a removable top. Many grommets have a fixed top. These are much better. You can use it if you’re running smaller cords. But you can just remove it completely when running multiple cords or larger lines. Overall, this a nicely functional grommet which offers a very clean finished look. Great find and I can definitely recommend these.

Versatile desk grommet for keeping cables organized
Building a desktop for my riser desk frame and these Desk Grommets will help greatly in organizing cables that must travel to below the desk. These require a 2 and 3/8 inch hole in the desktop with a hole saw. You could also drill a 2 1/4 hole and use a rat tail file to enlarge it a little for a really tight fit. For a loose fit you can use a 2 1/2 hole. The top covers pop out easily once installed and snaps securely into place. The small opening for the cables moves both left and right as well as up and down as needed. Very happy after testing these on cardboard to make sure they suit my needs.
