AMAZING!!!
I'm a brunette with a lot of grays. I have been using this product for years and I love love love it! My hair grows extremely quickly and I love the fact that I can use it as frequently as I need to, without worrying about exposing myself to poisons. I love the color of my hair, I love how soft and healthy my hair has become since I started using it, I love the fact that it has no toxic chemicals, I love how easy it is to use, I love that the company is a small family owned business. I'm so grateful that I found this product. I highly recommend it!!!

I learned by trial and error. Pleased!
I have about 18-20% gray hair mingled in with my medium/light brown hair. When I first tried Gray Riddance ("GR"), the directions that come with the bottle were very rudimentary and somewhat unclear. Normally, I wash my hair every 2nd or 3rd day, because washing it every day dries out my scalp. The GR package instructions gave me the impression that I could layer the spray over a few days, until I'd get the color dimension I wanted, without washing my hair in between sprays. Well, doing that just did not work on my hair. The first time I used GR, I : Day 1, washed & dried my hair, then sprayed.Day 2, No noticeable change, so sprayed again on unwashed hair.Day 3, No noticeable change, so sprayed again on unwashed hair.Day 4, Again, no noticeable change. So, I washed my hair and gave up.The next month, I decided to try again with a different strategy. This time, I started out with a clean head of hair before EACH spraying session. After the 3rd day of spraying, I saw (finally) a "warm" medium blonde hue covering my grays. So, this has become my spraying schedule: The 1st and 15th of each month: wash/dry hair, but wait until the next day to spray GR (only once). Repeat monthly. On this schedule, my grays receive 3 sprays over a 6 week period, and there is never an obvious demarcation line. I always spray the GR on clean hair, otherwise it won't work for me. The GR instructions recommend letting the spray sit on your hair for 18-24 hrs (so the color can oxidize). Because I have stubborn gray hair, I leave the spray on for 22-24 hrs. To target the grays along the hairline of my face, I use a hair-coloring brush that I bought at Sally's. The brush is thin, flat, with stiff bristles and is a more precise way to apply the GR exactly where I want it.Before GR, I had been using the typical off-the shelf brands, Loreal, Clairol, Revlon, etc. After 12 years of those products and my hair strands getting thinner, drier, and pretty frail, I had a scary-as-all-heck episode. While in the shower and rinsing hair dye out from my hair, the water in the tub began rising to my ankles. When I looked down, I saw a whole lot of my shoulder-length strands floating and swirling in the water. So much of it had fallen into the water, that it was stopping-up the tub's drain. A sharp, cold chill shot up my spine (fear). After I got out of the shower, and scooped out my long hair, I took my wide-tooth comb and very, very carefully combed my wet hair. Even with the gentlest of touch, more of my hair fell out onto the counter top. A sickening feeling (wanting to cry) engulfed me. After my hair was combed through, I gingerly fastened my hair at the nape of my head with my favorite barrette. Before this, my hair had always filled that barrette to where I could barely close it. But, now, feeling it with my fingers, I realized about 20% of my hair was missing. It's been 5 years and my hair is still not filling that barrette. I don't like it one bit. But, it is what it is.After that, I decided to try "natural" hair coloring products. I did a lot of research (months), and read tons of reviews made by regular people. In the end, it came down to Surya Brasil Henna Creme, Palette by Nature, and Gray Riddance. All 3 have some limitations, either ease of use, effectiveness, and/or price:"Surya Brasil Henna Cream" (a semi-permanent hair color, which I only needed to leave on for 45 mins to completely cover my hard-to-cover-grays, but it washed out entirely within 8 hair washings);"Palette by Nature" (permanent w/natural ingredients, but very pricey, plus I had to leave it on for 2-1/2 hrs for it to cover my stubborn grays); and"Gray Riddance" (my fav). After getting the hang of it, it's the easiest to apply. It turns my gray strands into believable, warm-golden highlights mingled with my medium/light brown hair. Negatives: My scalp can turn a little orangey, until I shampoo a couple of times. Also, spraying the right amount takes a little practice. But, these are minor inconveniences that I can live with, and won't make my hair fall out!!In the end, I found that Gray Riddance works best for my circumstances. I'm glad that I experimented with it again after my initial trial and error stage. It was soooo worth it! :)

Got my color and shine back!!
I just tried this 2 weeks ago for the first time, and I LOVE it!I have been gradually developing more and more sensitivity to hair dye, even healthy versions that you buy at a health food store.I have tried henna, but it changed the texture of my hair and made it too red - it clashes with my skin color. Also tried dyeing with teas, herbs and other concoctions, but after one shampoo the color was gone. This spray is what I've been looking for! I have long, golden blonde hair, which is gradually getting grey, especially at the roots. Even the strands that aren't grey just look drab...no color, almost clay-colored. This spray added the golden back to my hair; it looks like my hair when I was young! Makes it smooth and silky, definitely improved the texture. I did the three day application. So far (2 weeks) it's been permanent!! At first when I saw myself in daylight, it appeared pretty yellow, but that faded after a few days. It has now mellowed into a beautiful color that I'm so happy with!I do my own highlight streaks, and a week after using Gray Riddance I added some highlights back in and it looks great.Unfortunately, it did dye my scalp (my part was pretty brownish/orange for about a week!) but lemon juice on a q-tip helped fade it.Next time, I think I will apply (at least around my part) with a toothbrush, which is suggested for touch-ups. It does smell like self-tanning cream, but mostly right after spraying while hair was damp with the product. Once it dried, it didn't smell that much. The slight smell is totally worth it for shiny smooth hair that has it's color back! One of the best aspects of G.R. is that my hair is glossy and shiny and feels thick. I noticed when I was using regular dye that my hair was parched and not shiny. I am very very happy with this product, it's what I've been looking for!

this product smells horrible for 3 days
First, this product smells horrible for 3 days! Second, the gray wasn't covered and I ended up putting a semi-permanent color on it on day 3. Thirdly, my scalp was brown and for 2 weeks it sluffed off (still have some) and looked like I had hair plugs. Lastly, the brown dandruff looking flakes ended up sticking to my shower floor. Would not recommend using this product.
