301TPK Descant Recorder, Transparent Pink

When I opened it I found small black hairs all over the recorder, there were even some on the mouthpiece which I tried to photograph.The finger holes were different sizes and not in a line. There are small scratches and pieces of plastic hanging off, as the recorder was not finished properly. This was a cheap recorder so I wasn't expecting it to be amazing, but this is terrible quality. I will be returning.

Fab for my 11 month old to make lots of noise with ( I remove the middle and end and allow her to use the top to blow on)I would not buy this if she was to be playing at school as the finger holes are all over the place and the sound is pretty bad, the back of the mouth part had to be pushed down in to place, for the price it's well worth it to give the kids or your self something to make noise with. Colour is fantastic,

Such a great purchase, my 2 year old son loves marching around the living room tooting his blue recorder. He does sound more like a reversing lorry at the moment than a piper, but it makes him happy. I also get to have a little play on it myself too, which is my new guilty pleasure. Great value for a perfectly good quality instrument.

Oh the Joys....... had to buy for my daughter as her school have decided that all of the children will be playing recorders for the next 4 years - somebody shoot me now!

It started ok and my 8 year old daughter was happy with it, but after a few months it started to sound progressively worse and the parts started to become loose. I’m sure there are better options for the money. I also wouldn’t suggest getting pink again as it looks like another sort of toy.

At this price, it's probably a good option for a small child who can't be trusted to look after a better quality instrument (like my son!). If your child is 4+, it's well worth spending a little more.

I love Recorder Workshop Recorders. I own a few and they are all great. They are cheap, but don't feel cheap. They sound rich and sharp and just so easy to clean.....

Great colour ... much more stylish than when I was learning recorder at school! Great quality ... the sound quality it produces is simply down to the little one at the end of the recorder rather than the actual instrument!! Definitely recommend!
