Not very big for starters. Size would fit perfectly for a child, or smaller adult. So I would just be wary of this before picking one up. The quality of the beanie is decent, not bad at all. Just disappointed for the most part due to the size of it. The way it doesn't pull down above my eyebrows, as well as fully covering my ears is something that bothers me. If you are looking for a plethora of color options for beanies, that is tailored to young adults or teens, this is the beanie for you! Just make sure that if fits your head first. Overall good product, and does the job of keeping your head warm. I just would have appreciated it being made for larger heads... One can only stretch a beanie so far before it starts to break.

Runs Small
Living in Wisconsin, bright orange is a necessity in fall if I plan to walk in the woods. Thought this beanie would fit me, but it honestly fits my 10-year-old son better. While the dimensions (7.5 by 7.5) are pretty close to those in the listing (7.9 by 7.9), it fit differently than the listing photos made it appear. The listing photos showed a slouch at the top of the hat, but it is not big enough to slouch. On me, it is tight fitting and does not cover my ears (could work with hair down). On my son, it covers his ears for the most part, but also has no slouch at the top. It is light to medium weight, and would be an appropriate fall hat. I would say it is more of a fashion hat, than a warm hat. Note: the orange color in real life is most accurate in the photo of my son.
