Fit perfect, just make sure to use the screws that come with it as the housing that was in my motor required longer screws

I used this on my 1979 Johnson 15hp motor. Works great with much better water flow.

I needed to rebuild the entire water pump on my old Evinrude 9.9hp outboard motor, and this kit got the job done. It can be tricky finding quality parts for older motors, but this company came to the rescue!

Easy to install.

Replaced water pump on 1977 9.9 Evinrude outboard motor. Installation went well. I didn't think the impeller was very tight on housing. After assembly I placed water muffs on motor and started up no water coming through outlet at motor. I submerged the motor in water and still not pumping. I will be disassembling and returning pump. I will purchase an OEM made in USA pump. The pump I am returning is made in China. I do not recommend this product.

I have purchased water pump kits from the aftermarket company Sierra in the past ( That's who distributes this kit, don't know who UANOFCN is...manufacturer ?) and they were engineered close enough to Johnson/Evinrude/OMC specs to work fine, however, that is NOT the case with this kit! I installed this kit as part of maintenance on my lower unit and immediately noticed 2 major flaws. One, the impeller fin diameter is much smaller than specs and 2, the exhaust outlet for the water is smaller which will limit water supply to the motor. So, I decided to follow-up and install and test this pump and as I suspected the water flow is very limited from this pump!!!! I reinstalled my original and immediately got back easily twice the water flow from an impeller and housing that's 3 years old......As they say, the proof is in the pudding. Obviously Sierra is using a different manufacturer and different specs and this was the last time I'll buy one, back to OMC only for me. UPDATE - After a thorough review of the packaging, I can find NO reference to Sierra being involved in any way with this item, my apologizes to Sierra. I "assumed" it was from them since the manufacturer displays the Sierra part number for this product as well as the OEM part number on the package. It also states, it IS made in China.

worked great on my Evinrude 15hp motor, seal the housing with sealant for motors 15hp and below or it wont shoot water out the pee hole and you'll think its broken.Also sealed the thermostat housing cover as i think a gasket was missing.

Parfait sur un Moteur Johnson 9.9 année fin 1990. Très long délais de livraison mais c’était bien mentionner.

Properly installed in an 85 9.9 evinrude. All parts measured the same. Does not pump water. Re-installed the original worn out pump, pumps water. Replaced with an OEM pump, as an other review said, you get what you pay for.
