Campbell Biology, Books a la Carte Edition 11th Edition

This is the best biology textbook I had ever read. I am a medical doctor, I have a degree in biology, my twin girls are taking biology in college and asked me to tutor them. I was so impressed with this textbook I bought one for myself. It is very well written, the concepts were easy to understand and the extra in-depth explanations and quizzes provided excellent reinforcement of the information being taught. I highly recommend this textbook.

So far this has been a great book to study from for Biology, however I have reached a page that isn't formatted correctly. I'm not sure what happened because I haven't come across any other pages that are messed up, but this one cuts off a good chunk of the page making it mostly unreadable. I tried redownloading it on different devices (all iOS devices) and it's still the same result. It still doesn't take away from the overall book but it is unfortunate.

This book provides immense details for every biology topic one could think of. The illustrations in this book are incredible and the content is easily digestible. Although this is a pricey textbook, it is worth it if you plan on studying Biology in college or if you have to take multiple Biology courses. Love and appreciate this book so much, especially when my professors do not cover all the materials. Arrived fast and in great condition.

When I first got this book it seemed huge. After reading it I have gained so much knowledge and it does not look so big anymore.

I bought the paper version for two classes in biology (I really like paper better than e-versions). It is a book that is often used by biology programs, and this was the 11th edition. I liked it so much that I bought an e-version so that I could have it as a reference book wherever I take my tablet, or my phone. I use the Kindle App on my tablet and phone, and I am good to go. I love the book, but it will break your toe if you drop the book on it. I have no regrets about either purchase.

Mandatory biology book. As a bio major this book was rather informative in areas where my professors may have left something out. The book is filled with helpful diagrams that were used throughout the semester. Huge help for visual learners.

Crazy expensive and stupid heavy, but it was one of the best textbooks I’ve read for biology. I would rent it or get the ebook version because it’s that heavy.

My Professor said a “new” unmarked book was required for my honors biology class. I took a chance getting this “used like new” book and was a little nervous. But the price was great! It just arrived and it’s absolutely perfect-just like brand new. A little goo-b-gone took the rental sticker off the back. It shipped really quickly too. Loveee this book! If you study biology you have to have this book.The only word for the retailer, try and pack it better because it gets dented on the edges.

The book can be termed as 'Bible' of biology !!!However, the corners of the book were damaged during the shipment as the packing material was not that strong and that does not give a fresh look to the purchase.

Book is nice to learn biology but binding of book was not good

The book did not seem authentic. The cover was covered up by a piece of paper. I wanted to return the books, but the seller was hesitant and keep giving other offers!
