Many beautiful illustrations, clear diagrams and instructions are featured here. For beginner and the more advanced student, I recommend this one. Other, similar works are superficial in comparison, more like pamphlets that were perfunctorily thrown together, but there is a sense that the author really enjoys his subject! If someone were to have but one work on the subject, it would be this. Review: Great beading reference. - Outstanding reference on technique. Best suited for an experienced beadworker. Interesting cultural information. This is a book to actually READ--not just look at the pictures.
