Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o) Awwwww! This is the CUTEST punch I've ever seen (and worked with)! For years, I've always wanted a postage stamp punch for my artwork and cards. Now I have one, I'm SO pleased! This li'l pink stamp punch simply works without too much pressure from my fingers to initiate the cut. The edges of the cut paper (and cardstock) is clean, without any stray 'hanging' paper and looks exactly like a miniature postage stamp. That said, the punch itself is well made, and the die is does the cuts as it is supposed to. There's even a hinged, yet clear plastic catch-all 'flap' at the bottom to collect my various cuts, that is easily removed for my work. Lastly, two things I must point out: The listing mentions a 'lockable' feature,' that I cannot find on this device... which makes me wonder where/what could it be? Curious minds would love to know. Secondly, as a teacher, I would venture to exercise caution using this punch with the little ones... as they just might get their fingers caught in the bottom portion that might create a 'owie--' and I say this kindly. A good suggestion is to share this with older kids, who definitely know better not to get their fingers near the cutting die mechanism when punching out the postage stamp cutouts. I found that it cuts out nicely, and feels like it's going to give lots of use without breaking because it feels sturdy in your hand. It's designed ergonomically so it's easy to use if you're someone who has challenges with dexterity, be it because you're arthritic or you have younger chubby hands ( aka a young kid you're overseeing as they do crafts). It would have been nice if this had something on the bottom to gather the punches, because otherwise it can get a bit cluttered especially if you're trying to isolate one particular image to make a punch of. But that is a small thing and it's really for someone who is doing more advanced paper collaging. for just regular fun crafts this is a great choice.
