Fire Emblem Awakening Kakusei Model Sheets Knights of Iris Art Book Japan Import

This is a love letter to the FE:A fans. There is so much beautiful artwork that surprisingly isn't posted all over the Internet. You could probably find about 75% of the art online, but that's with a lot of searching and anyway I prefer having the actual book. One thing you should know is that despite the fact that the item name says its a hardcover it is in fact a SOFTCOVER like the product description says. Kinda expensive for a SC but meh. Also of course almost all text is in Japanese, but you probably knew that. Here's what is contained in the book:Pg 1-74: All official character illustrations for all units and children, excluding designs for MU. Also includes all character art for the series 1 DLC (KoI was released before the later DLC) and a few full double page illustrations.Pg 75-136: Design sketches for all units, enemies and weapons!Pg 137-174: Event illustration gallery, this chapter is awesome! Includes story boards, in game illustrations and art depicting important story points. Very cool.Pg 175-182: Japanese player polls.Pg 183-216: Character profile pictures, mostly just Japanese text.Pg 217-319: All character supports, in Japanese. This was disappointing that the last 100 pages were all text.All in all, this is an awesome artbook, and it was worth the steep price for a FE fanatic.

Starting off, I'll echo what others have said - the artbook itself is not hardcover. However, it is still definitely worth the price. The paper quality is really pleasing to the touch and the art is down right gorgeous. The book itself is fairly large as well, which is nice for such high quality art.I really adored all of the art, and it was really fun being able to see the design process for the characters. I won't lie, the latter half of the book is pretty much a wall of Japanese text, but I personally think that the gorgeous art and quality of the book overall more than make up for this. There is an English version that will be coming out within the year (which I'll be getting as well - I love the series/art that much). It will definitely be interesting to see the comparisons between the two.

I love it! I got it a day earlier than I anticipated and it came in a nice tight box. It came in perfect condition!Now about the actual book~The art is amazing, it gives a beautiful image of each character on one full page. There is quite a few pages of concept art which is cool. Detailed drawings of all the weapons. Story event illustrations. Proposal event illustrations (one of my favorite parts) of every character in my unit would marry them. Movie storyboard sketches with a side by side of the clips. Character profiles and faces for each combination for my unit and for the other characters. Lines of characters (if you can read it). And card images for previous FE characters.The only disappointing part is the 100 pages of scenario archives( which could be really cool if you could read it) at the end. Butbotherwose totally worth the buy for any FE:A enthusiast ~

THIS IS NOT A HARDCOVER BOOK, I DON'T CARE WHAT THE INFO SAYS.That being said, the art is absolutely beautiful! It's got the official CGs and character designs from this game, and it also includes the sketches and concepts for the character designs, as well as all of the enemy class uniforms and armor. There's even a section on every single weapon! If you're a fan of the characters, or just someone that appreciates character design in games, then you won't regret buying this book. The actual quality of how the ink feels on the page is a bit... troubling, though. It'll be easy to stain the pictures with oily hands.The book also contains storyboards for the cutscenes, and the special graphics for S-supports, haha. If you happen to read Japanese, you'll be glad to know that every single support conversation is included in the last fourth of the book or so.

I was worried when I ordered this that it would only have a minimum amount of sketches and designs for characters and the rest would be images used as promotions for when the game first came out. I am very happy to say that I was wrong, this book has a wealth of images, sketches, concept art for not only different characters, and classes, but the weapon art work as well! It also comes with storyboards used for the in game cut scenes as well as all the dialogue between characters (unfortunately I can't read Japanese but I didn't buy this book for the dialogue options). This is a fantastic book to buy not only for Fire Emblem fans but for fans who like a good fulfilling art book to add to their collection.

I love Fire Emblem Awakening sooo much and I am also really into drawing as an artist. I could stare at a good pic for hours. This book is amazing! But remember most all text is in Japanese, which I'm a bit sad about but okay with since they mentioned it. This book shows character designs, larger official images than Wikipedia or some other site. You can kind of notice how each character design changes to be the way it is today. The only thing I don't like as that I was expecting pictures that people said were supposed in the artwork but aren't there. Maybe it depends on what seller? It's cover may not be hard cover but it is still durable. I added three sample photos from mine to give you an idea. Also it has all possible support conversations you can have in awakening in Japanese if you can read. Also it looks to me like they were talking a bit about development of cutscenes and storyboard in Japanese.

Was just as described; merely "good" condition with some bends on the top of the spine. Still, satisfied with my purchase.

Bought as a Christmas present for my niece. She absolutely loves this niche product. The supplier delivered the item promptly and safely from Japan despite the holiday season.

Este libro de arte no me defraudo para nada, todas las paginas estan a todos color junto con los bocetos de los personajes y todo a un excelente precio. Realmente lo disfrute. Ojala saquen del Fire Emblem Fates.

Arrived really quickly and is an incredible book for any fans of Fire Emblem Awakening. The last section is in Japanese though so you won't be able too read it. I was aware of this before purchase and wanted it anyways!
