This is a great size for my trash and recycling.

I purchased this because of the smaller compartment on the top left. It's a good size for a compost bin and it's elevated off the ground to keep compost away from my dogs and off my countertops. We use the tall right side for recycle. It's a bit small for some household recycle items (cereal boxes, etc.), but does a good enough job since I really like the top bin for compostable material. It's been a month and so far it works great. Removable interior bins make it easy to empty as well.

Looks great in the kitchen. My only complaint was a small dent from shipping. I was able to almost completely remove it, but still is slightly visible. With the right tools it could be done.

I don’t often review, but needed to forewarn. I really like the design of this trash can with the three compartments. The lids work well and the bottom compartment is on wheels to slide in and out nicely. However the first trash bin arrived with major dents and I had to return it. I ordered a second one hoping it would be better, but the second trash can also arrived dented in the same spot just not as bad. There must be a packaging or shipping issue, which is a shame, because it’s otherwise a nice design.

This works as advertised. This 3 compartment trash can replaced several containers that were in separate areas in my kitchen, a garbage container , a paper recycle container and a plastic /metal recycle container all into one compact unit where the trash can used the same space. The plastic inserts are easy to remove and empty and when necessary clean. I use a drawstring 13 gallon trash bag for the garbage can insert . A hole in the front side of the insert allows me to press excess bag into it to make a tight fit when the insert is put into the trash compartment. The foot pedal on the trash bin is a great big help. The stainless steel no fingerprint finish is a big plus.

An excellent buy if you are choosing, or being forced, to separate trash, recyclables, and food waste. My only hesitation was finding the right bags for each compartment.
